STRAY KIDS Maniac Tour JAPAN

I DID It again!! Of course it wasn't as shocking as the first time yet there were still moments that caught me by surprised and things I didn't notice the first time round.
ANNOYINGLY the Japan edit takes away the energy from sooo many key points, I really doubt anything will outdo the Seoul edit. Also that weird extra brightness they had takes away the richness and deepness of the other colours and that beautiful LED.
What was also very interesting were how much some members completely grabbed me for the first time, namely SEUNGMIN!!! This is the him I've always wanted to see, he seemed so much more open and full of expression and personality. SO different from how he was in Seoul. Lee Know seemed a bit more withdrawn, slightly so but it's normal, we all can't be hyper ALL the time.
Felix also DOMINATED some choreos. I was like WTH!?!?! And Changbin's VOCALS in Hellavator?!?!?! WOW.
A SHAME We didn't get Silent Cry but it's FINEEE, Connection live was a TREAT as well as Fairytale. I also saw WAAAY more of their on stage playing around here. Bang Chan was on a roll, I love that because he's soo relaxed the other members can be a bit more relaxed too. He's the perfect leaders fr.
I truly love Stray Kids.
I'm STILL going to revisit the Seoul concert some time in the future to get all the right angles I want lol.

@dohoooho & @keemjwook usually styles stray kids for concerts/festivals. You can tell it’s dohos styling if you see large safety pins, fleur-de-lis or crosses pinned ln their clothing. But I believe Jaewook is their main stylist. To my knowledge, stray kids never repeats outfits for concerts so every concert feels like you’re watching a different one. I went to 4 maniac concerts in 2022/23 and they had 4 different setlists. They sing the obvious ones like Gods Menu, thunderous, maniac, etc but will add a different song each time, usually depends on what country they’re performing in so each time feels like the first time watching them. Concert tickets are ridiculously expensive now and being a multistan does not help but after experiencing skz in concert, I stopped buying concert tickets for all my other groups that I love bcus skz really showed me what a concert is supposed to be like. I left every stray kids concert feeling like it was worth the money and had the time of my life. I hope you get to experience it one day!

If you are considering watching more of their concerts in the future I would recommend the 5-star dome tour as they each have a solo stage, or the 4th fan meeting if you can find a good quality recording for either of them!

Secondly, I have watched the first reaction so many times that I know every little detail by heart, so it was very funny for me when you thought a song was new and it wasn't at all LOL. Already in concert mode, as always, the kids with their live vocals, incredible choreography, and next-level outfits, personally, I prefer these to the ones they wore in Seoul. But definitely, the Seoul concert is on another level, but of course, that was the first concert of the tour and the first concert since the pandemic, they obviously wanted to give it their all and they did. In the Seoul concert, they made an effort to show that they were back and in this one, as it was already the end of the tour, they looked more relaxed and much more fun, I think Seungmin showed it very well. And well, the camera work was quite bad in some parts and I don’t know if it’s the acoustics of the venue but when they sang live it sounded poorer than when they did in Seoul. Thanks for the reaction, you’ve been quite busy from what I see hahaha.

So to see you fall in love with them for the same reasons I did warms my heart. I feel like I'm reliving my first few years with them through you.

You could definitely see the toll it was taking on him, which is fair. Sucks for him, but he was trying his best to fight through it😪 Thanks for taking in another concert, it really is a pleasure to watch their creativity come to life on stage. Happy to enjoy it with you

Can not wait to listen to your reactions. I really wish they made recording of the US concerts, too. They are all so free when they’re out here. SM is a menace, making stays swear whenever he sang the song, Stay. There’s video of him swearing when singing it, with JYP in the audience. It’s interesting to see how their interactions change a little, depending on where they are performing. Way more aegyo when in Korea/Japan.
