To the people that knew I probably wouldn't like this I understand your curiosity for my feedback and this isn't particularly addressed to you. HOWEVER to the ones who know what my tastes are like but want me to do it anyway simply because THEY love it I have to say it feels a little bit disrespectful of my time when there's sooo much to film but there's comments EVERYWHERE asking me to check it out when you know this is not my taste, at all.
Especially the people who comment on posts that have nothing to do with BND as though I was missing out on something that I was going to enjoy? Please be mindful of what you're recommending because there's a LOT I want to cover and I want to make sure I utilise my time well.
Now for the positives, the sound itself isn't bad (except the chorus of the title track) and I do believe they're making a lane for themselves which is very commendable when there's so many generic boy groups out there but it's just not a lane that interests me particularly.
They're trendy sonically and have quirky personalities which works very well and judging from their sales they're KILLING IT so I have no doubt they'll continue to grow and have major success, I'm oddly proud of them because some big name labels are not being very creative with their rookie groups and BND are outselling them easily so it shows that creativity and innovation WORKS. Their bsides also showed some promise.
Anyway as the title suggests this will be my last BND reaction, including variety content and that's because I don't want to get attached to their personalities and try revisiting their music. It just doesn't work for me and that's okay and I'm announcing this so you don't think I'm ignoring you when their next comeback happens and I'm not reacting to it or acknowledging your comments cos I try my best to be as transparent as possible with everyone.
Taesan's mujin service showed where he's lacking technically and I pretty much got to discuss it throughout the reaction, more than I enjoyed. It's quite fun trying to figure out how he uses his instrument. He does seem to have a passion for music so hopefully he will grow in his singing and develop more dynamic technique to enhance his delivery!

Helps to make me proud of my work because It takes practice to always be able to articulate things as clearly as possible so it's appreciated and it resonates it's the BEST feeling and I love engaging with you guys, clearly. Yess I do see them growing since they're involved and seem to have a passion for music. Agreed, this was one of my favourite Mujin services too in terms of detail. There's another I was super detailed with also but can't remember who it was now and funny I was gonna mention TXT also but kinda lost the train of thought. Ohh wow I didn't know that was one of IU's biggest strengths! yayyy! And nah the delulu YG Stans didn't affect me like that, I can't help but be honest tbh lol thank you though!

Honestly, Micah becomes particularly harsh towards his faves OR when he sees the potential but it's wasted (by producers or the company). No one is really safe and I like that from him. It makes me take a step back and think whether I like the song because of my stan perspective OR the song per se.

I liked how you described how there was a "hole" because that clicked with me too. For some reason the movement i think of when he sings is just when you push your tongue back really far like that visual is how he sounds to me HELP idk if that makes sense. I also get what you were saying about his vowels because I feel like his mouth is always so WIDE. maybe its the 5+ years of choir showing but part of me just wants him to pucker his lips more to see what kind of sound we would get lol. Anyways I think he has a great voice but maybe just doesn't know how to use it to his full potential and I cant wait to see what he does/tries with it in the future! (also I LOVED your idea of mujin having a segment in every ep where he kinda guides/helps the person because I feel like that could help idols like Taesan and so many others truly use their full potential and open up new sounds they might not even know they have! Anyways Im rambling but thank you again for the great reaction!)

The level of detail was amazing and the combo of you seeing the vision for them with it not being your taste made for the perfect mix of critique and appreciation. I like the lane they’re in and feel like they’re involved enough in their music that they can really grow/evolve their sound; so even though I think they’re in third place in their debut group, with zb1 being temporary(😭) and riize being with sm(😬) I can see them going far in the long term. That being said I was most excited for the Taesan Mujin Service and omg you went above and beyond! You suggested the Mujin tips at the beginning and then proceeded to do it for him and it was *chefs kiss*. As someone who watches your channel bc I don’t know a lot about singing it was everything I could ask for. When I first watched the ep I was surprised he was the one who went since he mostly raps, and pleasantly surprised by his voice bc I did not expect him to have as much range and strength(?) as his did? Cause I also stan txt so I was like oh great he’s not about to pop a vessel in his neck he’s doing good😂 but you made the point about his vowels and I hear it! I was wondering why like he sings in auto tune😭 I decided the western artist he sounds like to me is Khalid. Then after you mentioned the vowels the IU song came up, I remembered one of her biggest strengths is pronunciation and so you gave us a good lesson in that too😂 Also I was hoping you would say which 90s rnb song teddy got the beginning of that 1tym song from bc the rhythm/melody are SO familiar but I can’t place it smh Anyway, thank you for the time and kind comments for BND, (I hope the trauma from the baemon stans didn’t make you feel like you had to be more nicer lol) and dw/sorry I will still update when Jaehyun is being cute and talented in discord🤣

Like I absolutely loved this bnd comeback but I didn’t want to particularly request you to watch it bc it definitely didn’t seem like your taste. Just throwing things at the wall and hoping something sticks. Like you said, they’re carving out their lane and forming their identity. Everything they have released has been cohesive and there’s a clear story being told. And it’s all because they actually contribute to their music. The boys have a vision on what they want to say and Zico allows them to experiment and do whatever their heart desires. Again, that’s what’s lacking with these newer groups. Where’s the personality? It’s funny because i remember in your first reaction to them you didn’t like how they all had dark hair and nobody stood out styling wise and claimed there’s no individuality. Which is crazy because spending five minutes watching their content, you can clearly see each member has their own lane. Not a single personality overlaps. Okay I’m going on a tangent now, you probably don’t care about all that🤣 I was a huge Block B fans so it’s natural for me to enjoy this type of sound and I understand if people don’t. It suits Koreans taste and i think that’s their ultimate goal.

I find myself doing that recently like "oh he'll like this" or "oh he probably wont like this one" because I've gotten so used to watching your reactions because I love what you have to say about songs and can just tell how musically involved you are with the way you point out certain things. Now when I first listened to it I definitely didnt love it and its gonna take some time to get used to... The bsides I did like though! I think my fav title track/album from them is still just gonna have to be their debut one, but I do love how they're separating themselves from everyone else and being unique to all of the same old stuff everyone is doing these days. That being said, I TOTALLY understand why you wont be reacting to them anymore, and I understand your frustration with everyone recommending it just because they want you to watch it even though its obvious you wont like it, especially if its on a video thats not even about BND. Anyways, I'm finally gonna go watch it now and I cant wait to see what you have to say about Taesans voice!

I got interested in Jaehyun one day when I saw some clips on Twitter, and he's honestly a cutie and a total ace when it comes to being and ENJOYING being an idol. I also got interested now in Taesan because he keeps mentioning MCR as one of his favorite bands, and my emo heart melted, hahahah. But apart from this, I wanted to say that this was super educational. I mean, I always find myself learning something from your reactions, but this one was really good, especially the Lee Mujin service one. As always, I personally appreciate your honesty a lot, and I totally get why you won't react to anything else from BND. As I said, I find them so cute and talented, but as a 30-year-old, I truly can't find myself liking any of their songs; it's just not for me. I also realized they of course have a huge Zico influence, and I've never been a big fan of him or Block B, so there's nothing to do in that matter. Again, thank you for always doing honest reactions and doing your best to explain your POV.
