2024-06-22 14:18:25 +0000 UTCfuture volumes expand on their stories first and then continue them once they catch up chronologically. for instance book 6-8 is ally's college time with alan. 9-11 shows us both their engagements with kink at the club but also how ally and lisa first connect. then 12-15 we see the continuation of their relationship even when they are not the center of the plot they are tightly intertwined with the stories of the rest of the cast. book 20 is about their wedding and its gonna be a blast :)

It's my all-time favorite comic and I re-read it periodically throughout the year when I'm feeling down. It really picks me back up. <3 But, I do have a question. I think it was on tumblr that I saw these characters, one younger and one older. The older woman knew the younger character's mother and awkwardness ensued. I'm very curious to know what happened with that and if that's something that's coming or was left on the cutting room floor. Or maybe I've just missed it. I'm not sure, but I was curious about it. The book I got when I ordered Sunstone Volume 2 has two spots where the black ink wasn't applied correctly by the press. The narration and dialogue wasn't affected too much on the first, but on the second, it was faded enough to where it was unreadable. This will tide me over until the new two volume hardcover set is available. Loved the detail you put into the covers for Book One and Two that you showed us back in January.

2020-03-29 22:41:18 +0000 UTCWell, there's still a lot of JPEG artifacts in them, especially around the text - if it's readability you're after, the files provided by Image Comics on e.g. Comixology are a few times bigger, with much fewer artifacts; but of course they're not free... :) (And yeah, everything Comixology sells from Image allows you to download a PDF "backup" as they call it...)
