much of this stuff is just me trying to figure out what level of explicite i want the book to be. see thing is, i don't have the patience to draw an all out porn. it gets very boring really fast for me so i always tend to deliver a distilled version of it. strong ideas that i can use and then move on with the story. this way i don't have to use a lot of page realty for a sex scene but i get a strong impast with what i make.
with fine print it's a fine line (so fine) to walk. while i'd love it to be published and i already got an okay for it i'm also well aware of publishing limitation and maturity ratings and how those affect the sales. i want to treat sexuality honestly in every form depicted but still there will be much more to the story than just sex. by now i think you are all used to this with me. however it was still necessary for me to set the tone and define the level of explicitness that will carry through the book
with a lot of development material behind me (which you will see over time) i came to a conclusion that it will be a more hardcore approach than sunstone but still capable of delivering a powerful and emotionally charged story.
and i'm sure many of you read none of this cause there are hot succubi and incubi and people clad in latex fucking up there and why am i even bothering right now :P
happy new year, everyone, next month i'm thinking, more of this and maybe a nice chunk of my novel as well for those interested! :)

Incase comes to mind with Alfie and her lovecraftian comic. Best way to go about it is do what you think will work. The concepts have been fun and looking forward to seeing how this plays out.

I have read at least a thousand smut mangas and it DOES get very very boring after a while, seeing one person getting plowed after the other, in roughly the same ways. I really appreciate that you instead keep it distilled and put extra much thought into those few glimpses - like you did here! These few pictures got me blushing way more than a full-on show-all sex scene ever could - because its more interesting poses, situations and characters, and you can fill in the gaps (of before and after) with your own imagination.

That said...I think that given your work on Sunstone you've shown the skill with portraying sex AND moving the story without going all in on the full-on-XXX-mode, and - while I can't speak for anyone else - I'm good with that. There are some writers who pretty much have to go right to penetration to move the plot. I don't see that here, so my thought would be draw what entertains you, and it'll entertain us, too.

The relationship and the thoughts and feelings surrounding it should always be paramount, but you can't glaze over the important moments and realizations that can happen during a sex scene. Sex just for the sake of having sex is just porn, not that there is anything wrong with porn, but a real story can be so much more. Also, I cannot wait to start reading your novel. I've been waiting soooooooooooo long.

Basically I'd always be here for your stories anyway, the sexy times are a bonus. And I can imagine drawing out a long sex scene showing every moment of it would get boring, and I think it'd become boring to read too after a while save for admiring your art. (I can only think of a couple of exceptions that I've read that were long and drawn out but were still interesting to read beyond the porn.)
