Something about CeeCee saying Koreans shouldn’t sing in English unless they’re fully fluent doesn’t sit right with me. Just because they’re not fluent in English doesn’t mean that they don’t understand what they’re singing about.

No, but I think it’s so interesting how mixed reactions to SVT music is. I saw a comment once that basically said as a casual listener to svt it’s one of those things where if it hits it HITS, but for them if it doesn’t it’s not a song they return to. I like a majority of songs svt puts out so it works out for me! Personally, I like seeing how they interact with certain genres and the variety of their vocal colors. So, idk if this makes sense, but I just really like “witnessing” them lol. Also, regarding Darling, that’s really just a classic fan dedication song but in English. They have those kinds of themes in other songs but as their first fully English song they went in that same vein thematically. Ooh and btw the blood type line is a Korean personality type thing, way back when they would say that your blood type decided your temperament/personality so that’s what that line is referring to. Woozi said in an interview that he didn’t know that it was just a Korean thing when he was writing the line, and that maybe he should have made a different reference lol. I get not putting it on YT tho since she was 50/50 on the songs and not caring for DK’s tone. I personally find DK pretty distinctive — but I think she may be referring to the “smoothness” of his voice? I’m not sure - he’s very musical theater in delivery - he doesn’t have a super pop-y voice. Also, yeah agreed my bets for dancing in a club would be Mingyu and Scoups though I would also put sneaky money on DK and Joshua. DK will not be cool, but he could be head banging or doing the dougie — would it be the correct vibe for a club… no, but he may do it anyway.

2024-03-02 15:51:25 +0000 UTCngl i don't usually recommend/request svt's kv first out of all the other ones out there since their music is definitely an acquired sound imo (it either grows on you or just isn't for you) since performance is their biggest asset. regardless they still have bops and great vocals and of course they're personalities shine through. loved the reaction!
