Thoughts about my updates + commissions
Added 2022-03-28 20:08:15 +0000 UTCI'd like to have some opinions about my update frequency on both Patreon and Twitter because I am having trouble deciding myself.
I like to post my art on Patreon first before Twitter, but I am not sure if people prefer it differently. A lot of artists I have seen have been solely just posting on Twitter and later in the month post an art dump post towards the end of the month. I have seen artists only post around 1 drawing a month.
I am not entirely sure if the way I operate my Patreon is what people generally prefers? I do a 3-4 day per update frequency, I draw a lot everyday and I often get excited to show. I know a lot of them are just commission works, I apologize for that ๐
I want to keep my NSFW post on Twitter very limited, usually people follow me to see my commission opening, so I only gain followers when I draw silly little memes. When I post NSFW works I lose a big chunk of followings because people do not like seeing them.
And lastly, I think I will start opening commission on Patreon more frequently than before. I don't think it is entirely possible to limit my slot to Patreon only because I've only gotten maybe 1~2 requests per month on here, but a lot of new Twitter commissioners are quite rude, and I'd like to keep them away as much as possible. (I hope I don't get canceled for saying this lol)
I want to open commission on Patreon 3 times a month, ideally on the first week would be the SFW slots, 10th for the NSFW slots (for $8 and up), and towards the end of the month if I finish things up early.
I will be opening SFW slots this month on the 30th~April 1st because that's when I wrap up a few projects, if you'd like to get something from me please look out to my Patreon post!
I hope this post doesn't sound like a vent though it might as well be lol If you have any thoughts for me I would like to know too, anything is fine. I appreciate feedbacks.

I know... sometimes I run out of things to say so I talk about my lunch ๐I try to keep it updated as much as possible but I always worry about spamming people's email haha.

2022-03-29 19:58:25 +0000 UTCPatreon to me is a more reliable source of content and income. People subscribed are more likely to respond to things such as commissions. I see Twitter more as a way of advertising the Patreon service. Not that there's nothing wrong sharing content on Twitter as well!

2022-03-29 02:05:03 +0000 UTCI voted with my ADD attention span to stay the same. BUT I also know how exhausting it is to have to update multiple sites, so whatever feels the easiest to you for your workflow and makes the use of your pages the simplest is what you should go with. ๐
