Patron's Early Access: Oasis Paradise Modpack

If you're a patron then you're in luck! This new modpack (which is still in early beta) turns your Oasis Springs from a desert into a delicious dessert!

So the question is: What is new?

The answer is: A lot.

Inspired by Del Sol Valley from The Sims 4 Get Famous I decided to turn Oasis Springs into a lush green LA-inspired world. I found out that a lot of the players usually didn't play in this world. To be honest, in my personal opinion Oasis Springs seemed kinda dead, kinda sad.

I wanted to give it life. That's why there are a lot of textural changes.

- we now have grass instead of dead sand

- some skyscrapers in the background and custom backgrounds to give you that LA vibe

- recolored rocks, got rid off their orange tint

- replaced some road textures, planning on changing all of them

What is planned?

- adding a Simlish Hollywood Sign

- it already is in the game but not in the world (yet) due to some technical difficulties I experienced that will be fixed in the next build

- replacing some of the vehicles with nice Limousines, Trailers, News Vans

- adding golf carts to Oasis Springs' golf view

- adding a swing set to the playgrounds instead of the giant jungle gyms

- much much much more!

So if you're already a Patron, don't hesitate. Download and playtest. Don't forget to give some feedback either here or over on the official Discord Server.

We're still into early beta which means things are still to come and subject to change. But I wanted to give you early birds an exclusive preview! If you're a patron (5$ tier or more) you'll be able to download the early version in the next post.
