I may have missed it, but did Othias bring up any any reports or testimonials from Italian soldiers regarding their opinions of the long Carcano before and during the Great War? They mentioned some comparison to the M95 Steyr Mannlicher in 8mm ("Ta Pump!") during the Maeversation, but I thought that Othias likes to mention primary sources and first-hand opinions in the service life details before making room for Mae

Great episode, thank you . I'm always fascinated how arms development often seems to revolve around people , patents and politics .

Guy K

No "War Were Declared"? :(

Jason

wood and steel. bit long though. simple is better in times. 6mm_ish is great as long as it doesn't eat up barrels.

Guido Schriewer

Oooooh ......Carcano huh !

Guy K

I was anxiously waiting the whole episode for Othias to mention and explain the gritty ejector drag. That "surprise" during the Maeversation was hilarious, though

Timothy Conklin

To be clear it was Othais just before Mae was coming in

Thanks for getting back on this. Apologies if I wasted your time. I think it was my connection. Posted what I did earlier, reloaded and it was all fine. Love you all of course and keep it up. We are looking forward to the revamp. Take it easy with those fence posts, nobody is getting any younger

Douglas Killock

This in the Mae talky bits or just Othais? Might be your connection, but appears good on our end.

1:19:08 Are you sure? Do the M93 Patrone have a spitzer bullet?

Matteo Manino

29:33 no sound on animation and no transition from animation to may shooting.

Duncan Wood

Just watching through and it might be my device or connection but the sound and vision are not synched at around 50mins in

Douglas Killock

I love you. Please do the 38 short rifle next, I want Mae's opinion on the 7,35 cartridge feel sooo bad.

Matteo Manino

As promised the Carcano is back. Looking forward to this
