Many years ago, ROTC at The Ohio State University had an open house my dad took me to. In their basement I found the most amazing thing, an indoor range. They were allowing folks to shoot using their assortment of .22 target pistols. I was in high school (Columbus North High) and had never even seen a Smith & Wesson Model 41 before. I was highly honored to be invited back for practice sessions and attended some actual matches.

Fun stuff! 👍 hope you hear back from the potato digger gentleman. Looking forward to the Chilean Mauser 1895 episode down the road!

On the note about getting young people interested in collecting, currently I go to Ohio State University and am a member of the student run pistol club. Were not involved in collecting and deal more in training people to shoot and proper gun safety and exposing people to the world of firearms. Were decently popular and good about reaching out to get more people interested in our club. If any of my experience with that would be helpful to a project like that I would be more than happy to offer it.

The more she learns, the more I want a Cooking with Mae show.

Listening to your comments about Show of Shows and how busy you are, and it sounds to me like they need to schedule you as a guest speaker, reimburse your travel co$t$ and provide a conference room so you can attract a horde of potential buyers to the show. Two birds & one stone time...

Your mom & I would have been fast friends: I Loathe Lucy too!

Othais, dude, all the Chinese scooters are Honda knock-offs [except for one, that's a knock-off of the Yomamahahaha Tmax 250... Best speed option, that one.] So as long as you're willing to fix the chinesium parts w/ ofFEEshuul Honda replacements, you can do OK w/ them since you're doing your own wrenching; most owners treat them as disposables, since they don't know they can get parts from Honda for their no-name Chinese import and the co$t of paying someone else to work on them doesn't work out when you already saved enough on gas to just buy another new one...

Um... Did you forget to update the liner notes from Unloading 109? Or is this "Continued from last time, same Bat time, same Bat channel, with some new villians & mooks to BIFF! and POW!"?
