As has been stated by those much better informed than am I... Greece, the lowest standard of living in Europe. However, they did know a fine firearm when they shot one, at their fellow European's!

Interesting that substantial numbers of Smith and Wesson M&P .38 Specials were apparently not fielded by any of the belligerents, although there is a tantalizing reference in Pate's book, citing Roy Jinks, that 3 M&Ps were shipped to the War Department in June 1918. Also: never fired a Type 26, but doesn't the cylinder tend to rotate out of battery when partially empty, presenting a fired round (or empty chamber) when the trigger is drawn back?
