man I love the fal. alas I had g3 thrown at me. lewis is just too cool. THE most disapointing... was there ever such a thing.. thinking.. molot 12ga maybe. coolest for me.. LAR griz in 45winmag recently. not into those mag semis so much but that thing is niiice. no reichsrevolver bashing? I mean the philipino colt has to be better than the german.

I would pay to shoot a match like described. I would probably pay extra to shoot more than one rifle. I would definitely make the drive, but in my case, I travel for work, so a 600+ mile trip isn’t a huge deal for me. My biggest issue would be what rifles to use.

The BESA was air cooled. The Vickers was water cooled. So the BESA was better in tanks and armored cars. It was needed fast. The Royal Armoured Corp (RAC) had a separate supply chain, so ammo as less of a problem. I'm also think that the RAC used .30-06 Browning MGs in their US supplied tanks/tank destroyer/ etc.

If you are able to put together that rifle match I would love to help. I'm able to match direct or RO. Thanks for answering my question

I think I have an idea about the Besa machine gun in 8mm. At the time .303 was the standard rifle and machine gun round, yet 8mm was used too, so why not go all rimless? The Besa was a niche gun. Tank Corps only. A few hundred or thousand were nothing compared to all the small arms in .303.

I stand by my joke about the Enfield revolver. They went through all this effort, and ended up with a shitty Merwin and Hulbert. Also, no disappointment with the pedersen device? Re the m1917 post WWI, didn't remington iterate on it until it eventually became the 700?

P-51 is a great weapon, more than welcome to shoot it anytime. Argyles for their actions at Glencoe at the orders of king William Both the round for the P-13 and the post WW2 British developments were 7mm's.

Can we just appreciate how dapper Rob looks

If you are serious about a match, you know you have to talk to Carl. Even if hes not involved, he's got a lot of experience to help you figure things out.

Christopher Schroeder

Having Othias drink Canada Dry while Rob is around is a nice touch.

Ronald Carrier

Excellent. I’ve just increased my contribution to both of your channels. Merry Christmas Gentlemen.

A break from the BP revolvers. 😍

Seeing Rob in street clothes is different.

On Ballistol, you once described it as "Everything that WD-40 claims to be but isn't," and that right there was enough to sell me on it. Win-win partnership, indeed.

Guys check the account you used. Maybe it’s intentionally but the account shows your last name.
