That's interesting: Peabody was an early Girls' STEM proponent.

2022-07-11 04:32:38 +0000 UTCI am in disagreement with the choice of the RRB over the Peabody unless there is an action-strength issue, assuming that both rifles are in identical cartridge chambering. In my younger years, I owned a RRB musket, complete with bayonet, chambered in 7mm (7X57) and found it fun to use, but tedious to operate. Wish that I'd had a Peabody as well.
