【重要】自動翻訳取り扱い中止のお知らせ　【Important】Notice of discontinuation of automatic translation

私のFANBOXでは、様々な方に楽しんでいただくため、ブログなどにグーグル翻訳を使用しておりました。

しかし昨今の生成AI等の問題により、クリエイターに正当な利益なく、また、必要な許諾等の措置もないまま「技術の進展のため」という理由で推し進められている状況を鑑みた結果、使用されている機能が法や規則の設定などによる客観的な安全性を保障できるものでないと判断したものにつきましては使用を控えるべきとの判断にいたりました。

イラストや音楽、声などと同じく、翻訳もただ単語を差し替えるだけのものではなく、原文の意図する意味や内容に沿うために作者の個性や創造性が必要となる「創作物」であることに変わりはなく、翻訳においても無断使用や報酬なき使用は、あってはなりません。

技術の進歩には犠牲がつきものだという意見も、技術の進歩によって淘汰されていく職業があることも、これからの未来にAIは不必要であることも理解しています。

しかし、現在の生成AIは過渡期であるという事実を取り除いても、人間の出した成果物に依存し、その上で無許可、無報酬という、いわゆる著作権、著作者人格権問題のさなかにあり、様々な法整備やガイドラインの制定が待たれる状態です。

現在の生成AI成果物は紛れもなく人間から生み出された作品をベースにしたものであり、それらが途絶えると結果としてこれ以上の生成AIの発展も伸びしろがなくなっていく道理であると認識しております。

私自身もクリエイターの端くれである以上、もっと早くに気付き、行動に移すべきだったと反省しております。

翻訳機能で私のブログを読んでくださった方々には非常に申し訳ないのですが、翻訳機能は本ブログを持ちまして最後とさせていただきますことをご了承いただければと思います。

ベースにある著作権等の問題が一刻も早く解決し、クリーンな生成AIによってさらに発展していくことを願います。

In my FANBOX, I used Google Translate for my blog so that various people could enjoy it.

However, due to the recent problems with generative AI, etc., as a result of the situation where it is being promoted for the reason of "technological advancement" without a legitimate interest in the creator and without necessary permission or other measures, we have decided that we should refrain from using the functions that we judge to be used if we judge that the objective safety cannot be guaranteed by the establishment of laws and regulations.

Like illustrations, music, voices, etc., translation is not just a matter of replacing words, but is still a "creative work" that requires the individuality and creativity of the author to conform to the intended meaning and content of the original text.

We understand that technological progress comes at a cost, that some professions will be eliminated by technological advancements, and that AI will be unnecessary in the future.

However, even if we remove the fact that the current generative AI is in a transitional period, it is still in the midst of so-called copyright and moral rights issues, which rely on human products and are not authorized or paid, and various legislation and guidelines are awaited.

We recognize that the current generative AI products are undeniably based on works created by humans, and that if they are discontinued, there will be no room for further development of generative AI as a result.

As a creator myself, I regret that I should have noticed this earlier and taken action.

I am very sorry to those who read my blog with the translation function, but I would like you to understand that the translation function will be the last time I have this blog.

We hope that the underlying copyright and other issues will be resolved as soon as possible, and that it will be further developed through clean generative AI.
