Describing the AR as starting it like a lawnmower has me rolling

Don't make a game of the livestreams, just keep it simple and fairly unstructured. You are over thinking this, dont do gimmicks they never age well.

Sleepy's good boy

I'm late to this. I saw you posted episode 64 and I hadn't listened to 63 yet. First things first... Mae, don't take the poison! It's pointless if you're cremated. The heat will break it down and make it ineffective for poisoning moles. 😉 On a lighter note, you two are delightful to listen to. I love how the conversation veers. 😄 Off to episode 64 now!

Why not send him a message via Patreon "Messages"?

Vortex has a media group that do a podcast. They might be down to have you guys on and look at your sight for you. They like digging into weird stuff when the opportunity strikes...

Adam

I was reliving that whole incident on the flight deck as you were telling it. 😀

Drachinifel

Off topic but does anyone know how to get ahold of Mark Novak and or Anvil Gunsmithing I need a project done and can’t find any contact info on google

RedneckSniper76

Maybe an interesting live topic would be WWI weapons still around during WWII or their descendents. Say the G98 to K98K development or M1903 to M1903A3 or A4.

Joseph Olive

https://youtu.be/s2ARGX4BO4E?t=1h34m29s the story from Drachs side. Bookended by his opinions on the food he ate over here.

Primarch359

That was so strange, but in the most wonderful way.... for reals...

Brian Foster

In the Navy they were called "Honey Buckets"....he who used cleaned! Entire P3 squadrons with functional constipation... ; )

Dr Don Hurley

Well….. that got weird 🤣

Love the Drach ambush. You need a one off shirt, much like Ian “Hi Guys” from his Q&A. “Hi, I’m Othais” with an Othais face. Wear that to places like gun shows (where you don’t have to be incognito) or hunting Brits who have never met you in person.

My favorite parts of these and the more freeform videos are the rants and tangents, so Othias amusing Othias would be fun if the girls could resist murdering him after a few episodes.

Halinspark

I prefer to listen to you guys as background noise, so I'd listen to your livestream thing for sure. As for what to do, I'l get back to you if I come up with anything.

Halinspark

When I saw the picture of you and Drach here, I thought it was an odd looking turret with two gun barrels all made of paper. I'd like to see how this is a 'sea mine'.

Jack Ray

Let who ever donates the most have control if the next episode will be reprocussion or towards ww2.

What I think would be cool for a live stream is to have reps from modern gun manufacturers be the guests. They would need to know going in that this would not be like other guntuber appearances. They could promote one of their guns, but they have to present a C&Rsenal-style contextual history for the gun. What is the history of the design? What were the inspirations? What elements were taken from other gun designs? After the presentation, shoot the gun and discuss it. Perhaps if ultra chat hits a certain threshold, offer a C&Rsenal anatomy poster of the gun. If the rep performs poorly, everyone can have fun poking fun at them and making memes. Which would incentivize the manufacturers to send someone capable. Maybe even the designers themselves. Imagine if you could get George Kellgren from Keltec to come on and talk about his Sub 2000.

You're only half-way there: make a run of repops for the collectors & reenactors who really want to have the whole kit but cannot afford the real thing.

The Drach ambush story was amusing. I'm looking forward to the collab video

Pudding

This went in unexpected directions. But entertaining.

Hot damn this was hilarious. I'm all here for the creative cremation consumption commentary.

Will Matzen

Not a direct livestream consumer myself, but I am liking the "Unlocked Bucket" concept. Or should that "Blowback Bucket?" Based on my experience of getting through two indoor USPSA stages in about an hour, I hope it would be possible to shoot at least on match with a different "special" gun for each stage for both Mae and Othais. Unlocking the match segments could then be a livestream thing.

Get an optometrist or camera repair lens repair person to whip up replacements for your Galileo sights. It shouldn't be too difficult to get the thickness and magnification duplicated and won't endanger the original lenses.

I laughed so hard at the 'Buried in the Dog!' bit I nearly had snot shooting out of my nose! Is there no sense in adapting this podcast as a live show? The mail bag might need some screening, but someone else could check it's not obscene and repack. Also: I am sure I have watched Drachinifel and Geoff Marshall doing straight Q&A's with donations flashing up live, but I can't find any.

Bradwan

The service where you pay "famous" people to say something is called cameo. For example here is what a YouTube peer does on it. https://www.cameo.com/thehistoryguy I think it's weird but basically it is an internet extension of Comic-Con signing lines etc.

Primarch359

I'm sure I could hear Suz laughing in the background.
