It's an odd disconnect for one used to modern revolvers that the gun chambered for .455 Webley had the "big" cylinder.

Shows the more advanced design and use by the British and Continental gun makers at the time in gun making history. I have a German copy of the Webley IRC / Tranter type revolvers. Same lines, action etc. mine in the .380 Revolver cartridge of 6 shots.
