シリウスで連載されていた（全４巻）マンガ、少年の残響。
作者の「少年を描かなきゃ意味がない」という確固たる執念がひしひしと伝わる作品…。
一言で言うと、「鬱くしい」ジャンル。
孤児や行き場を無くした少年たちが集う寄宿舎。そこでは少年たちに教育や歌を教えており、定期的に合唱が披露されている。
そんな寄宿舎では「ツアー」と呼ばれる行事が存在するのだが、その意味は——。
という、表面だけ見ればとても真っ白でキレイな絵画。しかし、一歩内容を理解すると、その白は途端に濁り、いつしか漆黒へと変貌する。しかし漆黒には艶があり、やはり表面だけ見ていれば光り輝いて見えるような、言葉で言い表せない美しさと醜さが同居する傑作だと思っています。
