In theory it could add to our subscriber satisfaction? I'm not sure what all YT even tracks or manipulates any more.

We're trying to keep from having multiple sets on the same topic. The nature of researching episodes means couplets are always easier on us for streamlining.
However, trying to do like... 8 episodes leading to the 1911 in one block is a bit much. So we're trying to break it up ahead of time... which is kinda crazy hard to do given the current schedule.

I habitually upvoted the vid over on YT, but does that even *do* anything for the pre-release vids? Maybe make the official release get recommended more often by Al Gore's Rhythm section?

From all I have learned, the world of patents at the turn of the century sounded like a real moustache-twirling, Andrew Ryan-esque cutthroat nightmare. Industrialists seemed more catty than highschool girls.

Unfortunately, an Ian video is no Maeversation, much less a full Primer.

For the rate reducer, Ian had a video on a Spanish derivative.

Georg Luger had an odd habit of including pre-existing designs in his patents, and then suing to claim he was the original inventor. He spent 8 years fighting Browning over the patent of the cam ramp of the luger action, a design Browning had invented years earlier for a toggle-action automatic shotgun.

On this video I really noticed your range conditions in the background are a new level of accuracy in simulation for WW1 trench warfare !!!

Another great video, I didn't see any errors that I know if and I have read several books on the subject. As always you do a fantastic job with your presentation and strike the right balance of history and demonstration. Thanks for all your hard work guys.

That composite video comparing the recoil of 7.65 vs 9mm is a great new feature.

I get hammer bite when I use mine with the stock - Might be why it became a small ring? Both mine are 80s imports from China (C96, and 1930) relined to 9mm - Both have same issue with stocks as you described - but always fun to shoot.

So many one liners that have merchandise potential…
- Take a look, it's in a book
- One gun per woman
- This thing makes the Villar Perosa look sensible (subtitle: C96ed out for now)
- (it still has good stopping power,) size doesn't mater
- Science with Othais [While dual wielding stocked pistons, and voicing gun noises]
- Somehow our Mae-versations are turning into the podcast
- Oh boy, did it…
Already excited for future C96 episodes. I would love to know if the 20 round fixed magazine makes a better carbine front grip, or how much a rate reducer or 3 round burst would effect full auto usability.

A couple times you show a red 9 on screen speaking about other contracts/7,63 cal. As a sidenote, I hope to see a 9x25 on screen next time.

33:45 Graphic shows a Red 9, but Othais's voice and figures on screen seem to reference the 7.63mm version.

I thought you said in your podcast that you were going to try spreading out eps that are the same topic. Y’all said a second parter never gets the numbers.
