I both love and hate Othias for teasing us with that nice 1887 Winchester.

All of these are making me want to try my hand at 3D printing a hand trap

They probably are saying "Weve got to protect our phony balony jobs gentlemen! We must do something about this immediately! Harumph! Harumph! Harumph!"

When Mae put the butt on the ground I started talking to the computer; "No, No, no, no, no, no,.."

Not to be "that guy" but it was/is 'Mystery Science Theater 3000'. And though, it would be funny to see Mae, Othias & Kevin comment on other vids of people performing with traps, the comedy of errors os having those 3 in FRONT of the camera

Delighted to see the three of you survive yet another episode with no ER trips required. Much as I'm enjoying this miniseries, I'm tempted to do a deep dive into the interweb searching for "crash test dummies capable of operating hand traps". You three can comment from the front row a la "mystery science fiction theater 2000"

That was fun. I'd ditch the 'bayonet' style launch and hold the front grip from the left side, to allow for all that torque. Probably hurt myself, too.

Cocking it with the butt resting on the ground would probably have resulted in Mae taking one for the team right in the chops. No bueno. Keep it up, great series.

With how it moves we should call it the Tuna. In the slowspeed it looks like a fishtail flapping.

A German hand trap, eh? Over engineered and often down for maintenance. I know, that’s panzers, not small arms. I can get away saying that because my paternal grandfather’s family came from Germany.

Would it work better with a lighter spring, and greasing the spring where it contacts the cover over the spring? The other thought is did someone replace the original spring before you guys and gals got a hold of it?

Surprising with the amount of shotguns from Italy there aren't any from there.

I expect if you have one of these, you also employ a burly man to operate it.

The ATF will have something to say about that front hand hold. Looks tactical.
