I saw a program on foods that made America. They said an average yearly wage for Americans was $400.00 Thats about a days pay for the hand trap.

You guys might have talked about this before, but what kind of camera to you use for all your filming?

Dr. B

Yay more Handtrapgreatness. :D Btw: @Mae: I fully agree that you have the superior technique. Kevin and Othias seem to throw "out of the shoulder" while your throw comes more from the hip. It seems to me less akward and mire efficient motion, since you seam to get more rotational energy into the throw. I could be totally wrong though. ^^

Love the variation in hand trap designs. I'm always interested in what people will try in order to invent a better mouse trap.

Anthony Vancampen

I think I object to the idea that this is "lesser" content than the WWI series. It's interesting, entertaining, and I have to believe a welcome break from the "grind" of running off the next 1916 Farfunggrafenwaddleson 6.93mm bolt action rifle.

John Thomas

I love the content but am consistently disappointed that there is no amusing onomatopoeia that goes with these like "poont" "phoont" or "fling!"

Veteran of the Mushroom Wars

Whee!!! Now can we have Kevin bust a clay with his matchlock? Please?

It's always Christmas Morning with C&Rsenal. A big jolly bearded guy bringing joy to the world.

Its funny that you say that because I just started reading those scans, and they are really neat (I wish you could still order alot of that stuff for the same prices!). I actually restored and repaired antiques before I got into old guns, and I remember coming across old catalogues and stuff at estate sales. No-one ever wanted them. They always got thrown out. Now I will keep my eyes peeled for them (back then I thought the information in those catalogs was already archived and recorded somewhere in some museum, so I figured they weren't worth keeping).

Gage

Mae Responding: This! This is my hope. I've been excited since we started the scanning project for patrons, some of the old catalogues have already turned up more info for us, like that image Kevin found of it being called the Little Joker, perfect find for the series!

C&Rsenal

Well, now that yall are bringing awareness to the subject, more people will become interested and more information will turn up. People going "oh hey, I have a weird old hand trap in the barn" or "huh, I have one of grandpas old catalogs with some of those hand-traps". You never know what kind of information people will turn up.

Gage

Hope Kevin enjoyed his snack!

Carson Mentzer

If you did it better it be better lol

Jeremiah Burkart

Mae Responding: I'm just sad how little information there is on these out there right now.

C&Rsenal

Keep up the great work! These hand traps are quite interesting.
