It gets stranger as apparently the 1912 model was strengthened slightly!

I keep expecting a “(The Mouse’s) Copyright were Declared” any time you cross 1924.
Neither can I help wonder how far gems like “I can’t play with it if you don’t give it to me” explain the viewer- supporter ratio for the product.

Edit: Acording to Våpenjournalens ladebok (the loading book of the weapons journal) modern 6,5x55 loaded for krag-rifles, as used in norwegian competative shooting, has a pressure of about 2800 bar, or 40600 psi.

Nice episode! By the way, Im'm sure you are well aware of this, but conventional wisdom in Norway is that a norwegian krag should not be fired with fullpowered modern amunition. The action was designed for what was full pressure at the time, but in later years the pressure of 6,5x55 has been increased to the point where it causes undue stress to a krag-action. I just thought it could be a good idea to mention it in case there are some krag-owners out there who are not consius about the situation.

Between breakfast (which includes the coffee), checking email, last minute reading for class..... I can usually can finish an episode with enough time to make and pack lunch

I love that Othias fell in love with a misfit. But how about a top10 neutral rifles, since there are so many out there, if you need another "filler" episode due to unforseen events. Just a thought

I keep searching for a Remington M1903A3 that somebody bubba'd a little bit. Something that couldn't be restored to Milspec, but could be "restored" to a M1903A3 carbine with a 20" barrel and a C stock trimmed to a profile similar to the Springfield M1899 Carbine or No 5 Mk 1. It would meet my desires and might please Mae. Especially if it was chambered in 7x57mm.

Mae Responding: Yes! It is indeed for equipment use, specifically to prevent my shirt from rubbing against the lav clipped to my belt loop at the front. Would rather look a little unusual than risk ruining audio.

Point of curiosity if you please. I've noticed Mae invariably has her right shirt tail untucked and her left shirt tail tucked when shooting offhand. I presume this is an artifact of equipment required for your (video) shots. Care to enlighten your hordes of adoring fans?

So Schultz probably was issued a Krag rifle to guard Hogan's Heros.

I love it when this pops up. I love watching while I have my coffee before heading off to class.
