True, perhaps most of all.

I'm sorry, once you have all the translation work sorted it gets easier to knock it out together.

Turn downs USUALLY only require some relief in the stock, if any. Like Rick said. However, there are exceptions I'm sure, like straight pulls.

Surprise helps as well

Will report back..

C&Rsenal

I get that reference

The machinations are as interesting as the machine.

As much as I love SAoWW1, I hate to say that *three episodes* on *a single rifle* from a minor power that *didn't fight in the war* got really boring.

Ron Johnson

No changes to the action, but the stock may need a channel cut into it to allow the bolt handle to rotate down fully.

I have what I hope is not a totally stupid question. Often, there is a long discussion about the use of turned down bolts vs straight bolts. But, other than that obvious difference, are there any other unique changes to the action necessary to accommodate the turned down bolt? Ultimately: why can't a soldier simply remove the straight bolt and use a turned down bolt instead, and vice versa?

Great history! Supposedly inferior local forces kicking some lesser armed colonizer butt with 1873 Winchesters reminds me of The battle of the greasy grass and Inrange videos on the subject here in the States

Glad to see that the YT call to action segment is a separate "platform specific segment" that can be adjusted as needed thus not distorting a Video Historian on Youtube into a Youtube Historian.

I expect the back of it to be a dashed outline or line drawing with the text "KNILcked by the Marechaussee"

Not sure I'd want to try the .303 version of these suckers. I suspect they'd kick like a Georgia mule!

Wayne Dygert

I meant a Colt 1911 but technically you are right haha good one😂

Evan Williamson

But there is a 1911 episode! #128 IIRC. You're welcome 😜

"We've got a carbine for that" ... so, that's the next t shirt design? [Goes off to find credit card]

Minion

I'm still surprised there's no 1911 episode of course I want to see a breech loading vickers mk 2 rocket gun but I doubt they will put their hands on one or be able to shoot it

Evan Williamson

“Wait, it’s all Dutch Mannlicher Variants?” “Always has been.”

Othias’ and Mae’s alternative cosmogonic myth: Instead of turtles, it’s KNIL carbines all the way down.
