Project Lightening: After Action Report with Mark

This is our final stall.  Regular episodes will be back next time, with TWO machine guns (one of which was NOT on Lightening!)

Sorry for the delay, we bit off WAY more than we could chew on this project.

Well damn I will need to pay better attention to your latest episodes. Still working through your backlog of videos.

I, for one, would like to give you special thanks Othais for encouraging Mark to undertake the Anvil channel offering: it has greatly enriched your Primer episodes for me as well by expanding my insight into the mechanics of these old guns. Much obliged!

Bruce Brodnax

Ohh! Add this video to the Project Lightening downloads in HQ as a final episode.

I mean, we do drop his face into an episode every other week.

Bruno says this a lot, that he starts to get a feel for how someone thinks based off a few of their designs.

It is a rolling shit storm but somehow a show keeps coming out the other side.

Thanks for the support!

Glad you liked it!

I like this one white eyebrow gun mechanic. I would like to see more of him.

Interesting comment about 'getting inside the head' of a particular designer. A lot of it may go back to that person's background. The Wright brothers worked with steel tube and bicycle chains, with their bicycle background, for example. Maxim had a broad background, Browning had a deep firearms background. All that generates a lot of variety in designs. Thanks for the depth!

Martin Morehouse

Very enjoyable and informative as always. For me the behind the scenes insights into the trials and tribulations of producing your well polished presentations are as entertaining as the episodes themselves. Thanks guys

Just bought the HQ downloads, and I'll be watching them tonight. Can't wait. Maybe I'll start now.

General Jack Ripper

Love watching you two geek out about old machine guns. This was easily as enjoyable as a normal episode, and a great follow up to the project.
