My Mom would have freaked out

The campaign hit 100k. I have to wait for Mae to get back so I can film the Crozier berries and thank everyone properly.

But right now, just for you patrons, a bit of pure honesty: all I can think about is my late mother.  She was an extremely hard worker, her eyes always locked on the household budget.  Despite long hours at the office she absolutely always had time for me and never spared a shred of love.

She wanted me to have a stable, normal career with a big paycheck.  I never really lived up to that while she was alive.  I mean, I did briefly but I apparently don't do well in an office environment.  She went on hospice from cancer about the time my traditional career flat lined due to my complete lack of interest. I'm ashamed to say she was still worried about my future when she passed.

Mom was always supportive of my projects, my ambitions.  But she never saw any of my mad ideas pay in anything resembling a sustainable way.  If she knew that some crazy notion of mine could turn up 100k in T-shirts in a month... she'd have cried in relief.

The net will be somewhere between 1/4 and 1/3rd.  Depends as shipping counts in the total and on European orders it can be as much as half the amount, etc...  We have plans to upgrade Anvil and Primer equipment and some last bits of debt to pay down.  I also want to make a final bid to stabilize transport.  (a whole mess I'll post about when solved)

So I won't pocket much on this one, better to reinvest anyway.  But a number like this clearly shows the project has legs enough to provided a career; assuming I am careful, thoughtful, and deliver on my promises to the public.

I feel like she would have rested a little easier knowing this some years ago.

A very honest and moving read Othais. It's a real pleasure to see your hard work rewarded.

You have the best channel out there.....in fact I’m upping my monthly support

Dead center of the target!

John Whitaker

Pay down the debt *first*! All the other upgrades will follow in due course much more quickly, and the sleep-filled nights resulting therefrom will help you maintain your insane production schedule & quality! :-)

LEWIS is awesome!!

Well done and well deserved. Happy to see your succeed. Your mother would have good reason to be proud. Keep up the good work.

Invest in taking care of yourself too, that sort of investment is also necessary to keep this going. Take time off, force yourself if you have to. Take a sabbatical to prep for the next phase. Share the load, I'm sure there is no shortage of people willing and able to help. Take care of your health, your physical and mental well-being, and don't begrudge yourself the occasional splurge. You deserve it.

As we say in western NY,"you done good!"

Just make sure you tell your loved ones how you feel while you still can.

Congratulations! It is an awesome channel!

Franz Anton Mesmer

Well I'll say this, as long as your in the game you have my support. You are the best history fix on the net bar none!

congrats

C&Rsenal

Cheers. I'm just glad I could help out in some small way. Ironically, by finally getting myself into a stable career of my own for the first time in a decade.

Mr. Butler said it well. Blessings upon all of the C&Rsenal crew.

I am proud of you. Your mom is proud of you. Patreons are proud of you. And yes, even Crozier is proud of you (however he is heavily influenced by the prospect of receiving more blueberries).

My mother passed from cancer nine years ago. Keep up the great work. You and the whole gang are preserving history. A noble endeavor if you ask me. I hope that monetary concerns never play a factor in the show. Let us know and we will step up with more.

" We have plans to upgrade Anvil and Primer equipment " Your production quality is already better than most of what is on Youtube and even some tv shows, certainly better than "Tales of the Gun" ever was. The amount of effort you guys put in is astounding.

Your fans and patrons have your back. Just let us know what you need, and I bet that, as a community, we will make it happen. Your content is first class, and worth every penny that I have spent so far. I'd like to think that others here would agree. On another note, my own mother passed away just over five years ago, at 54 years old. The thought that has kept me going is that I knew she just wanted me to be happy. I think your mother would be more than proud of what you have accomplished thus far. Keep up the great work!

Congratulations to the entire team. I will wear my new t-shirts with pride!

It is heartening to read such an uplifting post. Whatever it's worth, I believe you Mom sees your work and your victories, she had been resting comfortably and has been proud of you all along. Also, I believe that it's you and Mae, and Mark and the rest of your team that has 'legs'. The people are the project.

Congratulations to Othias and C&Rsenal crew! Keep up the amazing work!

By example on this, I got back roughly 20 hours a week when we hired Bruno... plus we got 3D animations. Those 20 hours were put back into the process and the episodes could get longer, easier.

C&Rsenal

Thanks for sharing in the feeling

C&Rsenal

I can check when we sort the orders. if you email me at candrsenal@gmail.com I'll have it for sure though!

C&Rsenal

Othias, C&Rsenal is one of the best products on the internet, and I am proud to be a patron and t-shirt buyer. Keep up the great work!

Othais - who really knows my friend - perhaps your mother knows full well how well you are doing and that you are following your passions. You have much to be proud of and you have many - many fans that appreciate your hard work and sacrifice. You remind me of a very smart and talented young guy that works for/with me. He really should go work somewhere else in order to make the kind of $$$ he is worth. I pay him as much as I am able - seems like he just feels at home in our Company. He and you are both wonderful examples of doing what you love and working with people you care for are far more important than a few extra dollars. Stay the course - you seem to be a fine young man and I just know you mom is very proud of you. Somehow - someway...

I just rewatched e16 and can really see how well you allocate funds, the quality of your most recent episodes is worlds away from the early ones. as your efforts have always been consistently (extremely)good this quality change must come down to how well you wrangle financial , you deserve our support and your own success , Thank You !

Ben Clayton

Good on ya. My Mom never got to see what became of me either. But you remind me of the look on my Dad's face when I showed up with the first guitar I ever made. Gobsmacked. The kid actually did something good. This is one of the reasons I love watching what you're doing. It's good because it means something to you, and to yours.

Randall Vanderende

Congratulations to all of you. You and Anvil are small islands of sanity for me though you may be driven nuts in the process.

Ronald Hoogenboom

I put a 2nd order in when it was at $99,000. I wanted to get the 3 shirts I didn't order the first time around. I should have just ordered all 7 at once. If it saves money and makes sense with the way you pick the orders, you can ship both orders together.

I'm so happy for you right now.

Brett

That is so sweet to hear. You guys have done such a fantastic job on the series so far, and I hope you it grows even more. Thank you!

Othias - I am a sentimental man above all else I think, and I'm also bereaved of my father.. I'm successful now in a career similar to his and I think of him often, especially when times are good. However congratulations - I've been a regular viewer ever since I heard of your channel when it was still in the Primer 10ish mark - I'm overjoyed at your success. I hope you're feeling proud as you really really deserve to be. Here's to this milestone, and to the great future you are forging for yourself! Love from London, B.

Bennett
