i don't understand the outrage, kekistan is a parody of identity politics on both the far right and far left, its a fake religion and ethnicity used to mock those who would use their own immutable characteristics to claim "oppression points." it has regularly by erroneously and sometimes libelously referred to as alt right, but this is not correct. even if some of those who partake in the kekistan "movement" are alt right, any reasonable analysis of the issue would not yield an answer that would deem it to be bigoted or discriminatory, quite the opposite. don't regard authoritarian minded poeple who wish to impose their beliefs and tastes upon you and others, true fans know that you are a good person and that your intent is never to arm but to educate. thank you Othias for sticking to your guns and not bowing to censorious powers.

If only corporations would take this approach to things. Once you make a political statement you have alienated around half of your potential customers. It doesn't matter which side is selected. It just seems like bad business to even get into that game. I'm also glad that you didn't let someone's views get in the way. If we completely ignore anyone who doesn't believe what we believe we would get very lonely very quickly.

This is a good decision. I think an official account should be as low engagement as possible unless you have someone whose dedicated job it is to run the social media engagement. Even big companies step in controversies much, much worse than this by just saying the wrong thing to the wrong person at the wrong time. Personally, I've taken to deleting old tweets just so they can't be potentially taken out of context in the future. Whatever you do, please don't let this mar the amazing success of the fundraiser.

I agreed with you 100% up until you said you would make changes to your involvement with twitter. Everything is offensive to someone, and you cant please everyone all of the time.
