Small Arms of WWI Primer 077: German 1871 Jägerbüchse and Carbine

Also, while I'm at it let's cover some updates.

I'm currently finishing repairs on an 08 and Jeff from the Lewis Gun episode has sent over a Hotchkiss 1914 and is shipping the final bits I need for the Maxim.  Thanks Jeff

The MP18 was going to go in for rewat this week but sadly the motor burned out on the lathe.  So... gotta take care of that.

We have two Chauchats with Mark for repair, but both are proving to be challenges.

If all goes well, we're heading out next week to visit another well known group of YouTube characters in the Southeastern US.

Research-wise Andrew has apparently found some data in the archives that will cause some controversy on certain US equipment... more to follow.

And finally we have a standing offer to borrow a WWI-era Madsen.  Just gotta hammer out the details.

cant wait for the MG episodes. If I get MP18, Madsen and Hotchkiss episodes I think I can die happy knowing I got to see those ! but frankly, I'd rather live a little longer to see the end of the project ;)

Thanks Michael. LOL "more boring stuff" surrounded by full auto rifles and machine guns!
