2017-10-19 05:32:56 +0000 UTCHaving a hard time reconciling the many reiterations of "Big, Slow, Weak" in this review when the Ruby [& others] in Small, Slow, WEEEEAAAK .32acp got a bye? Seriously, in the days before penicillin, ANY wound could punch your ticket. And throwing a bullet 1.5x as broad & 3x heavier than the .32acp just isn't anything to sneeze at when that apparently had sufficient power to get adopted too. The "mighty .45acp" is only this 11mm French with a pipsqueak .25acp on top for icing in terms of power, and look how that did in the grand scheme of things. OK, so this isn't going to stop a horse and there might have been better choices out there, but one thing that is a recurring theme in European handguns, is the utter complacency they appear to have about adopting glaringly weak cartridges, right up to the end of the century with the Mauser '96 & the P04 Luger following closely behind... ;-)

Yes I know that I can always watch on-line for the foreseeable future.....but in CD form I can more easily fast forward over the bearded guy stuff and watch Mae shoot in HD (just kidding, every minute is worth watching....but would love to get it in CD form eventually).
