The only thing I would like more from the show is if you showed more pictures of the sight picture on the guns. You used to but haven't in the last few episodes. Please don't neglect the sights, they are interesting to see the differences in sight picture.

Hey Othias: have you considered posting a list of "unicorns" you're looking for to feature on C&Rsenal? I'm sure a lot of the viewers [not all, but a significant %age] are shooters & collectors who may know of someone who has an obscure rifle or handgun, even if they don't own it themselves, and may be able to scare one up for you to use in the show. Put this whole internet thingummy to work for ya! ;-)

Bruce Brodnax

Shirts are coming back this summer. Just gotta get through the NRA show

C&Rsenal

I appreciate it! Thanks for supporting Anvil as well

C&Rsenal

Love the show. Please let us know about merchandise like t-shirts and stuff. I want anything that came from C&Rsenal, especially those badass shirts.

TwentythreePER

I've bumped up my support of your channel. I was giving $2.50, but now you'll be getting $4 a month from me. I gave a dollar to Mark as well! Keep up the great work!!!

Thomas Ross

Thank you for the support!

C&Rsenal

You're doing greate job, thank You

I'm glad you're enjoying it enough to support the effort!

C&Rsenal

Thank you, I'm glad it has had value beyond collecting

C&Rsenal

Oh dang

C&Rsenal

no u r

C&Rsenal

I did a 4 month push at about 85-90 hours a week, etc... tried to get 3 episodes ahead. We are now 1/2 an episode ahead. oh boy.

C&Rsenal

Thank you. Honestly I do still enjoy the work but it's much more of a pride/accomplishment than it is exciting. I've never worked this hard in my life.

C&Rsenal

I MAY have had to explain to Indy that we will have a Lewis, Chauchat, and MG08/15 in town, together, for several days.

C&Rsenal

It was so fun

C&Rsenal

Not a bad idea. I was thinking of postponing episode 51 and replacing it with a "how we do it"

C&Rsenal

Thank you

C&Rsenal

It is, but Full30 uploads tend to drag because they often "eat" the last few minutes and we have to try again, which takes a while. So if you're a hurry wherever is fine. If you're browsing the back catalog it would be a good choice.

C&Rsenal

Too much! I can't handle that pressure.

C&Rsenal

thank you!

C&Rsenal

i wish we had 100 rounds per gizmo

C&Rsenal

It has been suggested we schedule a meet and greet but I'm unsure of the location/other attractions. So I may just take to posting where I'll be for an hour or two at a time while we're over there.

C&Rsenal

Thank you, I appreciate that the work is coming through.

C&Rsenal

even the underwear?

C&Rsenal

I grazed it once. Are you guys allergic to street signs?

C&Rsenal

you could be self loathing...

C&Rsenal

If Patreon is still running there is no reason I can't just distribute by torrent/self hosting/whatever.

C&Rsenal

that's a funny lookin doller you got there.

C&Rsenal

Thank you, I'm glad to hear it feels like it has impact

C&Rsenal

I'm just looking forward to more T-shirt designs this year

C&Rsenal

We'll make it bit by bit. While a bump now and then is nice, we have to build the concept around the sustainable.

C&Rsenal

crud

C&Rsenal

Glad to help!

C&Rsenal

Formula: Talk a lot until they fall asleep

C&Rsenal

Glad we're appealing on more than one level!

C&Rsenal

d'aww

C&Rsenal

Well, at least by charting into the less known, we get exclusive content

C&Rsenal

I haven't waded that deep and because of you lot I don't have to.

C&Rsenal

As a history nerd AND a gun nerd I love the show as-is. Thank you for your work.

Jeff Freeman

As a student of history (and a layman in mechanical engineering) who has no real interest in collecting firearms, I have to say that your partnership with The Great War (who I also supported) was a stroke of genius. Just keep doing what you do...and we'll be there.

Phillipthe2

You've got a fantastic show here. I recently saw a rifle that was labeled as an 1891 Carcano 6.5 manufactured by Steyr in 1903. I took one look at it and thought, nah that can't be right. Took a look at the crest and realized it was something far cooler and more interesting than that (Recognized the symbol from a collaboration you did with the Great War, I have a feeling this one is next up in the series). Since the owner didn't exactly know what it was I got a good deal and even better than that I felt nice and smug. And that smug feeling is all thanks to you Othias. Keep it up!

You guys are amazing!

I assume it is the NRA convention. Now that is great gun show.

Chairman

Yeah don't get burned out!

Patrick Shabino

Primer is by far the best historical firearms series I've seen. You and the whole C&Rsenal team do an absolutely fantastic job. I sincerely hope that, coming up on two years and 50 episodes, ya'll are still enjoying making this series as much as we enjoy watching it and learning from it.

Christopher Dooley

Continue to love the show, like the current format, hopefully your able to keep the mix alternating between rifles and sidearms with machine guns (and shotguns?!) thrown into the mix. Keep up with the weird and the wonderful. Can watch tons of videos of 1903's and mosins on youtube. Pretty sure you've got the only video on Romanian m93s. The new show is great, had to kick a few bucks to Mark as well but plan to keep up support for both as long as you guys continue this venture. I would be curious to know what the break down of your expenses are - may be something to present on patreon - "Hey guys, this is where your money goes..." sort of thing. -madmed

Patrick Shabino

Now what is the thing in Atlanta you mentioned? I live less than an hour outside Atlanta and this sounds interesting.

So awesome that Tales of the Gun inspired you. It was one of my all time favorite shows! Keep up the great work.

Lance McCarty

To celebrate the 50th episode, how about a video of all the clips of Mae shooting guns?

Michael Hyde

Keep up the good work!

Is it better for you if we watch the show on Youtube or Full30?

David Kettler

The show is awesome how it is, I can't think of a way to improve it! Between the outstanding personal attention you gave me with my poster issue and the changing Youtube ad thing.... oops my finger just slipped on $10/m ;) Keep up the good work!

You guys make my favorite YouTube series and by far my favorite gun themed show. Keep up the excellent work!

RitalinGamer

Stay the course. Doing a comprehensive view of small arms of the period is a great concept, and you are bringing it off incredibly well. I enjoy your approach far more than a video of someone pumping 100 rounds through the latest gizmo.

Leonard Heinz

Keep up the great work as best you can, I love the show and it shows how much you love doing it. Definitely loving the new Anvil series as well. Have you considered setting up a specific time and place for a meet n greet at the NRA convention?

Nathan McCord

You two, and I say this with full sincerity, took you tube to a new level. Every time a new episode releases, I look forward to watching it as I would any other major network show. When I watch your videos, I make sure I have full attention. The sheer level or research, information, and exploring the firearm is just amazing. Bravo!

Drakin Kubala

Don't change a thing!

Mark P

Because I am a Patreon, you can figure out I like the formula. The longer the better.

Love the show the way it is Othias. I'm in the US and I really appreciate the apolitical stance you have. Dont change a thing, I can't believe how much ive learned from your show. If YouTube becomes too cumbersome we'll all move to Full30 with you guys!

Christopher G Way

I'm more than happy to keep throwing a couple of £'s your way each month guys, you make, by far, the best, most informative and genuine video content on firearms out there. Your non-political approach keeps me, as a UK resident and milsurp owner/shooter, watching and supporting you and one of the reasons I've started to un-subscribe from others who focus entirely on the US scene, despite heavy European viewer numbers. Long may you continue, you're doing a fantastic job.

Ian

I consider this kind of content as "collection of not so easily available knowledge" not just "entertainment I would like to pay for". This is more a cultural documention effort, not a "show". Certainly worth my pennies...

Risto Alanko

It's good to hear the sky is not falling on all those balancing plates. You produce great content at a ridiculously low cost for your average viewer. What's not to like? Now if you only offered a secret decoder ring too.

Ethereal

Don't change a thing. Very much like it as is. If you wind up needing financial help just say so. I could dig a little deeper. People like you and Mae are changing the world of home entertainment. I'm 2 hours from Atlanta... till the bridge collapsed. Turned my 2 hour drive into 3+. Still debating if I want to beat myself up sitting in Atlanta traffic. If I do will look for you and Mae.

John R. Dorn

You're stuck with me.

Easily my favorite show. Love the formula. I've only been collecting old military firearms for about 2 years, so the amount I learn each week is massive. Hats off to you and the crew!

I love the formula, this is one of the shows I wait for new episode of every time.

Im not in to guns at all BUT! Im a total nerd in the technology and engineering and also the history

Erik

To be honest at this point you guys are better than Tales of the Gun.

David Gummo

I'm proud and pleased to be a supporter of this effort, Othias! Anything to keep a knowledge of and love for classic firearms growing among other shooters. Don't change a thing (well, I wouldn't complain about more Mae per episode...)! This is by far my favorite firearms channel, as I rapidly tire of the ever-present ARs and polymer-framed, striker-fired, high-capacity nines.

John

Everything that isnt The Young Turds leftist tripe is being hit. No agenda here.

CLAYTON RONSO

Thank you.

Im proud to throw a couple of pennys in the hat! Keep it up! 👌👊

Erik

Aw, we love you too Othais
