RANT: never order from The Pokémon Center. smh

if you DO order from The Pokémon Center please QUADRUPLE CHECK your order details- including the address!
as you guys know, i moved, and as a result, i realized about 5 seconds after placing an order for some pokémon cards that i ordered to my old address by mistake. no biggie, right? it isn’t even processed yet, i’m sure i can just cancel.
wrong!
it’s actually entirely against their policy to cancel orders, much less to change the address, no matter how long it’s been since the order was placed. i was getting ping-ponged through customer service hell only to be sent copy and pasted terms i’ve already read.
so some lucky recipient is getting some pokémon cards. 🤦🏼♀️ there’s still a couple things i can try, like having the order sent to a fedex pickup spot or filing a dispute with my bank as a last resort but…. i’m mad. it shouldn’t be this much trouble.
may this be a warning to anyone else who peruses TPC.

seriously, never had this issue anywhere else when similar happened in the past. 😩 hope so too, gotta wait for it to go into their system first.
