Patreon Telegram: Feedback pls!
Added 2024-04-30 18:33:15 +0000 UTCSo! I’m gonna finally do it. By the end of May, I want my Telegram set up for patrons.
However! I have a small favor to ask: I’d love to hear feedback from you guys.
To start it off I’m probably not going to be doing anything crazy yet (like tier-limited chats and such), I’ll likely add those as my Patreon grows. So I just need to figure out what I should offer through Telegram as the *baseline.*
What I know will go on there:
• Casual chatter and hangouts (like casual streams/games too)
• Things like early openings for YCHes and Weekend Sketches will be posted up in there too
• Potentially some Telegram-exclusive deals
• All the art posted here will be posted there too
• And of course instant messaging to me directly for commissions and such instead of using Patreon DMs or FA notes
As I’ve never done this before I’m not totally sure on what is typically expected of a Patreon telegram chat. So feedback is appreciated and desperately needed while I plan on setting it up!

that makes a lot of sense! i’m gonna likely have it be more community-focused and of course as a convenient direct messaging option for commissions, yches, and rewards. and of course another place for art to be posted/shared!

I'm not sure it really makes sense to have telegram exclusive deals since for some people it might be a bit risky to have this kind of content on the app they talk to coworkers, friends and family but I do like the idea of a more convenient form of contact and other community things
