All four of my grandparents were of the generation that fought in World War Two and as I was working on this set I was thinking of the pictures of them as young people. My grandfathers smiling at the camera in their uniforms looking dapper, my grandmothers sending glamour shots to their husbands while they were away... I loved looking at those pictures.
