This was incredible - thank you for having this conversation! I've been fascinated by RFK Jr. views on vaccines (especially as the mother of two kids who hasn't really questioned vaccines before) and could not find a good analysis of his views online. The closest was maybe Megyn Kelly's interview of him a year ago but her fact-checking was pretty limited and unsatisfactory. I hope you make this video publicly available, because I think the hundreds of thousands of people who have become similarly interested in RFK Jr's views will benefit so much from this conversation, which is the only true, good faith exploration of his concerns that's out there right now. As always, so impressed with you and your guests, Brie! Additionally, I found an interesting document RFK Jr. mentions in his interviews regarding a suit he filed seeking vaccine safety testing of childhood vaccines because he was unable to get it from Fauci et al., resulting in an HHS admission that there are no such tests. Specifically, it appears that there is a 1986 law that requires HHS to do vaccine surveillance and work on making vaccines safer, etc. and also file reports with Congress every two years on this progress. That was what RFK Jr. and others asked for directly from Fauci, and got stonewalled. They filed a FOIA suit against HHS, and a settlement, HHS stipulated to the fact they could locate no records. (The stipulation is here: https://vaccineimpact.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/5/2018/07/ICANN-stipulation.pdf.) To me this proves HHS had not filed the reports because there's no way Congressional reports can't be found by the agency that filed them. And if they did not file the reports, it calls into question whether they were performing the duties on surveillance the reports were supposed to be based on. That's pretty damning in my view, and I hope in a future conversation you're able to question someone knowledgeable about this. I appreciated the focus on the science behind this topic in this episode. I hope a future episode dives deeper into the regulatory capture, corruption, and financial incentives because that lends even more credence to RFK Jr.'s concerns (which Dr. Prasad shares).

Been following Prasad for years (I research covid and have a PhD in bioeng), he's quite a heterodox voice in the field but I generally agree with most of his points. Glad Bri had this conversation as Prasad is increasingly being courted by the right, esp as liberal doctors and fools like Walker Bragman attack him

Great conversation. It highlights my PRIME CONCERN WHEN EVERYONE WHO IS NOT A MEDICAL PRACTITIONER OR RESEARCHER demands their opinions and experiences should drive public health policy and or practice.

I think the main problem with the debates idea is that it is politicized by both sides. It’d be much more constructive to have a conversation or town hall with a group of prominent doctors and important ppl to find a way for and ease concerns.

This guy talks really fast in some sections.

Another great conversation! Thank you. It’s not that hard to discuss/debate any topic on earth with good faith and respect! Also, I see myself referring people to this discussion if they would like to dive deep and know the details beyond the main stream characterization & name calling.
