It has been a long wait for this next beta to be finished and I apologize. While busy transcribing more and more magic items I find the sheet needing more and more ways to handle all the features they give. I even ended up rewriting some very old code that I hadn’t touched since a long time, the very first things I automated on the sheet: the conditions! Not a very important part, nor something that took a long time to do, but something I wanted to share. It was, in a way, a sentimental thing to do on a project that I had never dreamed would last more than a month or two, let alone 4 years!

Back to the scheduled programming. This new beta, v13.0.0beta12, brings a ton of bug fixes, some new features, some very often requested changes to the spell sheets (cantrip scaling anyone?), and a whole bunch of magic item additions. This brings the total available magic items to around 1/3 of all the SRD magic items. Thus, there is plenty more work to be done in that department, but it is getting easier and faster as we go along.

This new beta also introduces spell automation for a lot of classes, races, feats, and magic items that weren’t there previously. For example, the Life Domain Cleric now gets its bonus to healing spells added on the spell sheets automatically.

On top of that, I went ahead and changed all the spell descriptions to be more in line with the rest of the sheet. They are now all in first person and use abbreviations the same as the rest of the descriptions.

Just like v13.0.0beta11 and the betas before it, this beta can't import a character from one of the previous betas (v13.0.0beta - v13.0.0beta11). This is a precaution, not a bug! This is done because the sheet can't accommodate all the intermediary changes that I had implemented in the other betas without being too convoluted. You will be able to import from v12.999 and older sheets, as well as from another v13.0.0beta12.

Thank you for reporting any issues you find with the betas! The problem with passive perception and the spell sheets not generating for feats, race, or magic items are both being reported frequently. I have fixed them in the code, so you can expect it to be working again in the next beta. I don't see any issue with the cantrip scaling. I just tested, and when I add Fire Bolt in the attack section it is scaling as expected for a level 5 wizard (2d10). Perhaps there is something else you did with the sheet that unexpectedly affected cantrip scaling. Can you please walk me through how to reproduce this issue, starting with a freshly downloaded sheet?

Bug Report: Jack of All Trades is rounding up instead of down.

Hey, noticed a couple of bugs with the new beta sheet, first is that passive perception doesn't seem to be calculating correctly (missing the base 10 that you start from) and second is the fire bolt cantrip doesn't appear to be scaling with level anymore. Love the job that was done with the new artificer, tried my hand at coding it myself but this is way better, keep up the good work :)

Thank you for reporting any issues you find with the betas! I don't have this issue with the latest beta. As a Tiny character you should indeed have half the carrying capacity of a Medium or Small sized character. I just tested this with positive results, everything calculates as expected (75 lb with Str 10). So there must be something else going on that is interfering. Can you please walk me through how to reproduce this issue, starting with a freshly downloaded sheet? Thank you.

One thing I noticed was that if you set your character size to Tiny, it still calculates your carrying capacity as a Small sized character, where you really should have half the carrying capacity.

Thank you for reporting any issues you find with the betas! In my testing I have been using several different object names and it seems I forgot to replace one with the last iteration. I will make sure this is fixed in the next beta!

You can find more magic item fields on the Overflow page. There is no way for the sheet to calculate add the number of attuned magic items to the total of the saves. You will have to fill that out yourself in the modifier field.

Thanks as always for the great work! I was working through how the new Artificer would work at different levels and found that at 20, the class should have +1 to all saves for each attuned item (up to 6). I didn't see that calculated into the overall saves and there are only 5 available fields for magic items on the sheet. If there was any way to mark the item as an infusion on the sheet, that would make it a little easier to track things, but that's really just a minor thing. Thanks again for all the hard work!

Hi MPMB! Keep up the good work! - Few issues: As Above Passive Perception is only loading the Mod Bonus and cannot be changed manually. Spellsheet generation is only loading the class spells and not not any race spells - tested with a fresh sheet with High elf, Tiefling etc. Lastly with scaling cantrips active - the SCAG melee cantrips (Booming Blade &amp; Green-flame blade) are showing 0 extra damage per their effects below 5th level when they should show at leatst 1d8 &amp; +modifier number respectively. Thanks for your work!

Passive Perception is only loading the Mod Bonus. I tried turning on modifiers to manually add the base 10 and it still would not load. I tried three different times; a lvl9 monk with 18 Wis and only 4 Passive Perception, a lvl12 barbarian with 15 Wis and only 2 Passive Perception and a lvl18 ranger with 20 Wis and only 5 Passive Perception. Each time adding 10 in the Modifier field did nothing (nor did -2 on any of them either).

Like always, the sheet will default to using the latest source for something, as is explained in the source selection dialog in red. Simply exclude the source for the newer version that you don't want to use.

It looks like the 2017 Artificer was removed? Can that be uploaded as a separate class? I am playing the 2017 version and was going to put my char on the new sheet but that class is gone.
