It has been a long wait, but the fifth beta of version 13 is now finally available!



This beta introduces a rewrite of many basic functions of the sheet. I have gone back to restructure the way changing levels works, how subclasses are selected, how armour, weapon and skill proficiencies are loaded, and how the attributes of background, race, racial features, feats, classes, and class features are handled.

On top of that, there are some interesting new features:

Because there was a lot of ground to cover, this rewrite has taken quite some time and is bound to have some issues. I have tested all the changes as best I could in the time allotted, but I can never test all options fully. This is where you come in!

So I'm asking again, please try out v13.0.0beta5 and see if you can find bugs in its workings. Any feedback will be much appreciated! I genuinely expect this beta to have a lot of weird hidden issues as that is normal with such a reworking from the ground up.



This beta can't import a character from one of the older betas (v13.0.0beta - v13.0.0beta4). This is a precaution, not a bug! This is done because the sheet can't accommodate all the intermediary changes that I had implemented in the other betas without being too convoluted. You will be able to import from v12.999 and older sheets, as well as from another v13.0.0beta5 pdf.



By now an unfortunate recurring theme in these updates to the sheets. Both Avast and AVG are again falsely flagging this new beta as containing a virus. I will again contact both Avast and AVG about these false positives and hopefully they will resolve it. As previous experience has shown, this can take several weeks.

Please do not post or contact me about AVG or Avast finding a virus in this beta until there is reason to believe they have resolved the issue. I will make a post once I get feedback from AVG and/or Avast that the problem has been dealt with. If the false virus warnings continue for you after that, then you are welcome to post or contact me about it.

Hi James, The spell points are displayed using a static image and it is thus not a fillable field that you can edit. it is just an image that is shown or hidden. So unfortunately it is not possible to do what you ask. Maybe in the future when an official Psi Point system is published by WotC (instead of just a playtest UA version) I will add such a feature. However, I do not intend to change these kind of base things for what is essentially unofficial content. Cheers, Joost (morepurplemorebetter)

It has to do with the sheet throwing an error when you create a class that gets some kind of spellcasting from its subclass (and only its subclass: e.g. Arcane Trickster, Totem Warrior, Way of the Four Elements).

Thank you very much for reporting any bugs you find with the sheet! The problem seemed to be with the saving throw proficiency that the Samurai gets at level 7. I made a stupid mistake that caused any class feature that grants a saving throw proficiency to break the sheet. This will be fixed in v13.0.0beta6. Without your comment I probably never would've found this issue :D

When using Spiketaildrake's Way of the Four Elements Remastered script in the newest beta, the attack section breaks completely. I'm assuming this is due to the new way ability scores are calculated behind the scenes, but wanted to make you aware of it.

It seems the Specter has always had the wrong amount of attacks. Thank you for reporting this, I will make sure it is corrected in the next beta!

When inputting 'Specter' into the companion sheet (For a Hexblade's Accursed Specter) the sheet indicates 2 attacks per action instead of the expected 1.

Initially, after downloading, I went into the sheet to set a couple of my preferred settings. I set fixed weight and added all extra content except for Mystic Class and Modern Magic. I then re-saved the sheet. I did this for all versions of the sheet except A4 Colorful. Upon attempting to re-create one of my characters, an Eldritch Knight, I found that the sheet is not fully recognizing it's level, and therefore some of the class attributes. Here are the items I've found an issue with thus far: - Hit Dice - not updating, whether I insert the ability scores first, second, or last, the number of Hit Dice for a level 1 or 10 Eldritch Knight is not updating. It actually stays blank. If I set to a Champion first, then over to Eldritch Knight, it keeps the Champion info. If I enter level 3 Barbarian and level 7 Eldritch Knight at the initial class choice, It does not enter any hit dice, and therefore no hit points. If I choose pure Champion or Barbarian, the hit dice correct updates. -Features - Like the Hit dice, the features for an Eldritch night are not adding. By choosing Champion first, it adds the plain fighter information, and doesn't remove it when switching to Eldritch Knight, But doesn't add any of the Eldritch Knight features. Simply shows just the Fighting Style. However, it allows Fighting style choice, as long as you first choose a different archetype first. -Spells - Again, the issue points to it not recognizing levels for Eldritch Knight. The sheets recognize that you should have spells, but when going to enter them, it says you have no spells, nor does it allow you to choose any spells, treating the character as a level 1 or 0 fighter. Lastly, upon choosing Eldritch Knight, the work in progress box in the bottom right of Adobe, goes through a pass of "Updating Ranger Companion".

Thank you very much for reporting any bugs you find with the sheet! Adobe Acrobat can be tricky sometimes with showing the ‘JavaScript Window’-toolbar, it isn’t always willing to pop-up. This is a bug with Acrobat that I can’t do anything about unfortunately. The best fix is to close Acrobat and all open PDF files and then open Acrobat again. I notice that it mostly has issues with the ‘JavaScript Window’-toolbar when you have multiple MPMB sheets open at the same time. Note that you can also find all functions in the bookmarks. I'm unable to reproduce the issue with the experience point not triggering the dialog. After you increase your XP to an amount that would be enough for the next level or not enough for the current level, you should get a pop-up asking you if you want to change your level or the amount of XP. If you select to change your level, you should then get the class selection dialog. Which of these two dialogs are not appearing for you, the level up/down dialog or the class selection dialog (or neither)? Can you please walk me through how to get the sheet to show the issue you are having, the steps you took to get the bug to show?

I'm not getting the popup from the "Show extra features" to appear. Also when you "Add" experience, it no longer displays the class window if you go up a level due to the experience. I am running this in Adobe Acrobat Standard DC v 2018.011.20058

I've recently updated to Mojave and the pdf crashes Adobe on almost all dialogs. Though the spell sheet dialog fails every time. I've tested against old versions of the pdf 12.99 and the latest two betas v4 and v5. in beta5, my Feral Devil Tongue Tiefling is a multiclass Rogue Mastermind 4, Great Old One Warlock 1. On the first page, in the Feature box, it lists Charm Person (2 targets) but in the Actions box it says Devil's Tongue (2 targets). When I create the racial spells portion of the spellsheet, neither the selection box nor the spellsheet itself includes Charm Person.

Found another bug: Variant human's description says +1 to two scores of your choice, but in the ability scores menu says +1 to all stats. (although it still allows you to manually assign bonuses instead of automatically giving +1 to all) Also in the racial traits section, selecting the "racial options" gives "no race options that require a choice" (although human has a variant)
