Morning thoughts on fear, manifesting, etc.

I do a fair amount of thinking about fear. As a group that spends time thinking about and discussing ritual as often as we do, we should be more than familiar with the concept of manifesting. Manifesting a mindset into being through the power of our minds and behaviors.

It works both ways. If all you see in your path are problems, you're going to find problems. If you see yourself as a victim, and project yourself to the world as a victim, you will be victimized. But if you want to thrive... because fuck "survive", that isn't good enough. If you want to thrive, you need to manifest that.

By default life is going to be full of obstacles. I've never even heard of a life that isn't chock full of obstacles, even for the most seemingly privileged people. Knowing that life is full of challenges, we have to adjust our default setting to something a little tougher. A little less dependent on external cooperation.

I know there are people in the world who are against me. You probably do too. Maybe they're directly against me personally, or maybe they're just working toward their own interests which happen to conflict with my own. And let's be honest, if you identify as a Satanist, there are people against you! If you're gay, or black, or trans, or a man, or a woman, or rich, or poor, there are people against you. Is it harder for some of us than for others? Maybe so, but so what? What do we do with that? Do we hold that up on a sign and wait for the world to take notice and lend us some charity? No one else is responsible for you, your successes, and your happiness.

If nothing else, I just want to remind you all that you have the tools. We can't control all of society, and we can't always get what we want, when we want it. But this is our wheelhouse. Our whole deal is identifying with the adversary. I don't know about you, but I've been the outsider for damn near 50 years now. I'm using my magic every day to make my life as close to how I want it to be as I possibly can, in the face of the many restraints that life imposes. I want you to do that too. I want you to thrive. I want you to use the many tools available to you, including this community!

You woke up today, and that's a huge win. It's a privilege. Acknowledge it. Allow yourself to enjoy it, because there's plenty to enjoy.
