Thanks !

Sure, there are two versions here: <a href="http://well-of-souls.com/outsider/misc/" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">http://well-of-souls.com/outsider/misc/</a> Trade is written right to left (though the order in this case is not especially relevant. The Trade symbols are an alphabet, not a pictographic or syllable system.

More about it in the Outsider Insider pages: <a href="http://well-of-souls.com/outsider/loroi_trade.html" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">http://well-of-souls.com/outsider/loroi_trade.html</a> I would love to get a hand on a TTF file. Is there any ? Also, is on the screen the formal order (from right to left, top to bottom) of the Loroi Trade script?

I notice that all Lorai trade symbols are of equal Thickness and pictogramic size. This would almost suggest that every symbol is a syllable, and it would be odd to try to give a alphabetical representation to it as we see here. If they however are a alphabet, i'd find them a bit odd to be able to write them in quick succession. given a example Japanese Katakana is based on strokes, where this Lorai trade has dots, and parts at 90 degree angles. Too, i love the re-use of the red marker. i missed it since chap2 frontpage.

Assuming this is a WIP as there is no shading?

I imagine that writing will always have some utility, even if pens are used more as hardware, to make ticks or brief marks on pipes or bulkheads (which is why Alex's pen is a marker rather than a Cross or a BIC). And writing will still be taught an have utility even for a non-literary culture like the Loroi, though this may be one of those course that Loroi may groan about as never having had much real use in their lives (akin to how certain humans groan about trigonometry). However, I expect that penmanship will no longer be required study.

I think so, there is the Bellarmine number on it: ECS-154.

Paper markers do not require power to work and cannot be erased by powerful electromagnetic fields. So, it’s a good back up when for when those this become concerns. It also can help you limit the amount of access a diplomat from an unknown spice has to your computers.

The stylus is his own, right?

GhostlyYorick

Yes! Style change from the first page is quite large now, a bit less detailed, more natural poses and better integration within the 3DCG environment. Without being a person of the art, I dare authorize myself to say those changes are all for the better. Hope you had a nice Halloween!

Considering that handwriting has start to fall out of use due to use of keyboard use Alex may do this in a bit archaic way. It is possible that handwriting are still drilled among humanity but even so it is probably less common then today. The loroi on the other hand have existed as an technologically advanced culture for millennia. Do they even handwrite at all at this point at all? I imagine that some people may even get startled to see that someones stylus are actually leaving marks on a cheat of paper. I do not know what Alex are writing on but if it isn't a notebook it may as well be the wrapping paper of some rations!

Michael Pettersson

super!

Hmmm.. I notice you must do some finishing shadow and light effects.. before you post them to the comic. I see it in the character eyes and in the tints and shadows {or lack there of} on their faces and clothing compared to the previous pages! :)

Sweet! Beryl seems to truly be enjoying this! And of course with a photographic memory.. she is indeed learning English faster than Alex Loroi-Trade! :)

Sunphoenix72

Indeed!

Halloween? It looks like Christmas has come early.
