Irene and Seulgi are more of a performance unit and they're both the best dancers in the group which is why a unit of them two makes sense. More than that tho, they're probably the two closest and most bonded members I guess, as they trained together longest before any of the other members joined the company. They spent a long time being the oldest and longest trained rookies so theyre a bit trauma bonded too lol. Wendy are Seulgi are the two best vocalist and only members who are the same age so if you look it up they have a lot of one of duet performances and Seulgi featured on Wendy's debut album on a track called Best Friend.
