Big picture is that they are a part of NCT, which is a kpop group, so they live and work in Korea. But they are a Chinese subunit that mainly promotes in China. All of them are of Chinese descent, but of different nationalities. So they speak multiple languages. (This is a group whose lineup has changed.) Former Member: Lucas (left because anti fans, is now a solo artist) is from Hong Kong. Members: Win Win (on hiatus from group activities to focus on acting career), XiaoJun, and Kun (the leader) are from mainland China. Hendery is from Macau, Ten is from Thailand, and Yang Yang is from Germany. So when they are with the company/managers they speak Korean. When they are with each other as a group, they speak Mandarin. But when they break off in pairs, that’s when they start speaking in different dialects, and the English speakers speak English. When they are with the fans, it really depends on what they are doing. We get mixed language lol, but majority of them, if not all are really fluent in English. A deep dive for them would be great, because outside of their “neo” influence, I think their stuff might be right up your alley. But I would advise watching a guide on the NCT system as a whole.
