This is their first full album, but not their first album in general. They had singles before this. “Happiness” was their debut, with only 4 members. The 5th member was added during their first mini album before this album, called “Ice Cream Cake”. The thing with Red Velvet is that they have 2 sides. The Red side is very poppy, cheerful…and can be very experimental. The Velvet side is very r&b and sultry. So depending on what side they’re doing, the styling, song, and mv will reflect that. (Red side mvs are colorful, fun, summery. Velvet side mvs are darker, sexier and grown).
