Early bird: Fixing the Hinari TV

Video updated with a few tweaks/fixes plus hi-res footage of Richmond High Street (1982) that I bought from the rights owner. It's actually unused footage from a Michael Caine movie; "The Jigsaw Man"! Updated link: https://youtu.be/nFYQKktBtDc

Original post: There’s a lot going on in this video but I really love all of it, so I’ve left it all in! Hope you love it too.

I need to make a couple of small fixes so I’ve turned comments off so that they won’t get lost when I update the video. You’re free to comment here of course.

Thank you for your ongoing support ☃️

Very well said my friend. And thank you for sharing your vote for the time travel video. It will for sure follow, if I don’t finish my Time Machine first that is. Sincerest happy holidays to you and yours ☃️👾☃️

There was never any doubt in my mind that you would resolve the issue with the Commodore 64 and the Hinari television, Peri. 🙂 This was a wonderful follow-up to the previous video in which you recreated your childhood computer setups. The idea of time travelling in the manner that was described in the video would be amazing but bittersweet; however, I, for one, would love to see a video from you explaining and delving even further into this theory as a way for one to time travel. Until the aforementioned theory is proven, however, it's videos like these that allow us to travel into the past and revisit those wonderful times that shaped us all, in one way or another, into the people we are today. Sure, the machines were special and had personality, but it was what we as kids did with those machines that made them so special and how we remember and still use them today that makes those memories so fondly remembered. Thank you so much, Christian; I hope you have a wonderful holiday season, and take care. 😊

100 years ago they couldn’t do that so I guess we are lucky!

Watching old videos from your home town is so nostalgic and the closest we can get to time traveling. I've watched as much as I can find from Nottingham in the early 80s to remember it as it was before I moved to Australia 🦘
