Episode 12 - Progress Update #1

First update for the next episode. Generally speaking, I've made some decent progress. Progress is always affected by different factors and sometimes I have to take time to figure things out. Other times, things go really smoothly and I render scenes a lot faster than I anticipated.
I can estimate that I'm somewhere around halfway for the amount of renders I need. I've gotten the biggest/longest scene done. There's another big scene and a few more small scenes to get through.
I never set hard dates or deadlines because stuff happens and you never know how long something takes until it's done. I will say that my goal is to start animating in September. Late September or early September depends on how smoothly this long scene I'm working on goes.
August feels like it's going by really fast. I usually like to post a progress update every two weeks once I post the first update. That means the next update won't be until September. Not counting animations, there are a handful of scenes I need to render. My goal right now is to tackle the smaller scenes since they won't take long. If they do take long, I can move the longer scene into the next episode since everything is all connected in the story. I want to give you as much as I can while not making you wait months and months between episodes. I'm still trying to find the balance.
Speaking of which, I've started mapping out the next few episodes and updates. I'll go into more detail on this in a post next week to explain just how far I have things planned. I hope you'll be as excited as I am to see how concrete things are becoming.
To summarize, I've gotten a few scenes done and I'm still working on the rest of the renders. I'd say that renders are about 70% of the total work in creating an episode. Let's see if I can get a lot done before the next progress update.

Episode 12 picks up right where Episode 11 ended. There are a lot of questions and it's time to get some answers.
That's all I have for now. Thank you for your patience as always. I try to work as much as I can because I want to tell your story as much as you want to read it. I appreciate all of your support and everything you've done for me. Take care and I'll see you next week.
