Happy New Year, everybody!
Renders are done. Animations are done. The episode is written out. There's still some coding I have left to do but it's not much.
Right now I'm in the process of editing. By the time you're reading this, I'll probably have most of the editing done if not all of it.
Once the editing is done, I like to go back and do a few playthroughs. This is to make sure nothing is broken, you move down the right paths according to which girls you're pursuing, and to find any general mistakes. I always catch typos I missed or renders that I want to correct. Think of it like a car. It's completely built and everything is running fine. I just need to do a few test drives and also polish it up so it's spotless by the time it gets to you. I want to catch all of the small mistakes as well as the big ones.
I know it might be frustrating to wait but I'd prefer not to rush this. Sorry, there's no timetable on this. I'll say that I'm close though.
While Episode 9 is marinating and near completion, I'm already outlining and plotting Episode 10. You're probably thinking why am I starting early work on the next update when this update isn't even out yet. But everything is connected and I'd like to get into the update as soon as this one is out.
Not much else to say on the update itself. No previews because it's a short episode and anything else would be spoilers. I'd like you to just play it for yourself.
I'll have more on the overall project and plans for the year once this episode is out.
