Episode 9 Progress Update #1

Hey, everybody.

I know it's been a long time since I've had a progress update of any kind but I have been working on the episode. I did have to take a couple of weeks off because I had to travel for holiday obligations but I've been back to work for a few days now. I plan on powering through the rest of the year to get as much done as I can. It was actually refreshing to take some time off and it feels like my batteries are recharged some.

Here's the rundown of how progress is coming along in every category.

Renders: I have pretty much all of the renders done for what I need to do in terms of story. There are a few other things I have to render and clean-up but for the most part, I have what I need. I can never say everything is completely done though because I might have to go back and fix some renders.

Animations: There are quite a few animations in this episode. There's one scene specifically that has a lot of animations. It'll make sense why there are a lot of animations for that scene once you see it. I think I'll be able to have them finished rendered pretty soon.

Writing: The bulk of the episode has been written. There are a few scenes I have to write out once the animations are written but the story parts should be finished by the end of the week.

Coding: Coding goes along with the writing. There are a few things I have to put in once the writing is done. Like the writing though, I think more than half of the code is done and I just have go over it to make sure it all works.

Editing: I hope to get into editing as early as next week. Nothing is guaranteed but I'll try my best.

This is a shorter episode but there's plenty of story and spicy action. It's an important episode because it'll set the stage for the next phase for everything that happens next. I can't spoil anything obviously but once you play through this episode, it'll all make sense.
