Character Profile | The Familiar-looking Stranger

The Stranger was one of the last characters I designed but it was a long time ago. I've been keeping her secret all this time. It's nice to finally be able to share with all of you Sol City Police Detective Irene Seo. Out of all the comments I read, I think only one person was able to make a correct guess about her true identity.

There are a few aspects about her that I want to touch upon now that her identity is no longer a secret.

The first is her potential involvement in the story and the ramifications of the tone. With a police detective involved, things can get serious revolving around crime and such. Like the rest of the story, things will get serious from time to time. But for the most part, I want to keep the story fun and light. In a previous post, I talked about believability and where we are in the story. The story will continue to lean into the more absurd and unbelievable. Detective Seo's parts of the story will be the same.

The other aspect I wanted to touch on is Detective Seo herself. She won't appear in every episode but when she does, you'll develop a relationship with her. You're learn more about her. I have her personal story planned. I know her background. I know what role she plays in the major parts of the story. I think she'll be an interesting character to get to know better and it's not just because of the uniqueness of her profession.

And finally, if you're interested, you'll be given the option to have some 'fun' with her if you're into that sort of thing. As with all of the other women, how far you proceed with her will be optional.
