Episode 8 General Preview

Episode 6 and 7 have a lot of drama in them because of the circumstances surrounding what happened at the coffee shop. Obviously, Episode 8 will continue to cover what happened and progress that story. I'm satisfied in that I've been able to tell the story I've wanted to tell so far.

For Episode 8, I'm going to shift the tone just a bit. I plan on the episode being fun in more ways than one. Drama and action are always a good time but I don't want you to feel like you're playing a story that's always high stakes. I think there should be episodes you play through that are just a good time. Cliffhangers are fun but not when they're constantly used, so I'm doing my best to avoid that.

I'm excited about this episode because it's going to veer toward some of the absurdity I talked about in previous philosophy posts. It won't be the wacky kind of absurdity where aliens and monsters start showing up. I've plotted a scene that will put everything into perspective. Without spoiling anything, it'll be a memorable episode for reasons we haven't seen in previous episodes. I'm hoping you'll see that for yourself. 

Of course, a fun episode isn't fun for no reason. Everything will have some relevance to the story and it will all be connected. While I'm rendering Episode 8, I'm loosely planning Episode 9. I'm always looking at the big picture.

There'll still be some serious stuff in there but it won't be the focus of the episode.

Here's a quick bullet point rundown of what you can expect for Episode 8:

-Some relationship-progressing conversations with primary LIs

-Appearances by some LIs we haven't seen in a while

-A fun event with a focus on comedic elements

-Some exciting "content" with a few of the ladies in a way you haven't seen before

If a lot of these details seem general, I apologize. I just don't want to give away spoilers. I'm the type of person who likes to be completely surprised about every single thing that happens, so I'm assuming there's at least one person out there who's like me.

My hope is that Episode 8 will be memorable for multiple reasons beyond just the sex. I'm looking forward to this episode, so hopefully I can get it done ASAP.

Episode 8 Progress Update

It's been almost a month since I started rendering. Whenever the end of a month approaches, I start pushing even harder to see just how many renders I can squeeze out. There's still a long way to go though. I don't have any real news to report other than that I'm working.

I've managed to focus on the big story elements. The episode will be shorter but it gives me more time to focus to polish what I have.

The first official progress update and preview probably won't be for a few weeks. I don't want to get ahead of myself and make it seem like it's anywhere close to a release when it's not. Any kind of a timetable would be way off.
