Hey, everybody.
I know you all play these games for the women. They'll always be the star of the show. But there are other characters important to the story. I want Sol City to be alive and I want the MC to interact with a lot of characters who aren't just females. It will help everything come together. I figured I'd profile a couple of characters from Old Town.
For Alfie's design, I just needed a guy who grew up on the streets and how things worked around there. I wanted him to look like he was up to something just from looking at him. Someone who didn't look strong physically but looked threatening in a different type of way. You're supposed to have a feeling of uncertainty with Alfie.
Alfie will have his role to play in Old Town. The MC will continue to frequent the Proving Grounds and Alfie is going to be there. Do you trust Alfie?
For Jack's design, I needed an older guy. I needed him tough like he's been through a lot. But even though he's tough and somewhat mean, I don't want him to be a complete jerk. He's your trainer, so you have to like the guy even though he's not the type to hug you whenever he sees you.
Jack's going to have his role to play. He'll have more appearances coming in future updates. Erika trusts him but do you?
Old Town will play a vital part in the story. Alfie and Jack are two important characters in Old Town. As the story plays out, you'll learn more about them as well as their place in the narrative.
Progress with Episode 6 is steady. Like I always say, you can assume I'm working on the update unless I say otherwise.
