Just warming up for now. To be honest, I drew her on a whim cus' I wasn't at my best after last month. I didn't want to waste a good sketch so I've made something of it. Now that I've mentioned it, the sketch was barely existent. Like a couple of scribbles until I decided to paint and paint until I came up with this piece.
Bioshock Infinite is one of my favorite games back in the day. Liz is so down to earth and I've been wanting to draw her for a while. I also took the opportunity to experiment. My current style relies a lot on the golden hour but this time, I'm testing a couple of desaturated tones and cold colors with shades of pink as my only highlights.

Liz was on another level at the time. Back when companions got in the way of the player or became a burden, she instead help you out by scavenging ammo and coins with a charming personality that grows throughout the campaign.

Such a fully realized character; I wish her powers did more than just let you choose what obstacles were in a given area. I loved the game's setting and the skylines, which really opened up the combat. I wasn't as invested in the story. I was hoping for more wild alternate universe stuff like Old Elizabeth's asylum. I also liked Songbird but I wanted more of him! This is a fun piece with great rendering! Feels like it's going to wind up being my phone's new wallpaper. :-)
