Bayonetta illustration (Poll Winner)

I've chosen her design in the second game. One of my favorite characters; she was actually supposed to be in the NSFW Pool (I think Ivy beat her). If wasn't playing Tekken that time, she'd be in Asuka's place.
Onto the art, the process was straightforward. The main difficulties is getting the details right, especially the accessories + I could find HD references of the details (Like the official concept art doesn't even have a side view) . Even with prior preparations, the details are still incorrect. Nonetheless I persevered and ultimately made a piece I'm satisfied with. Its a bit mid but it's miles better than the fan art that I made last 2020.
Art process aside. Bayo 2 is my favorite in the whole franchise. The first one was a nice novelty, but the third one's inclusion of Viola had me split. Bayonetta is also one of my favorite characters in Smash. I wished I took advantage of her OP-ness back when I was playing in tournaments.
I hope you folks appreciate this piece more than I do. Maybe this'll age like wine.

I picked up Bayonetta cus' I was struggling against my brother's killer ZSS. I was mostly a Sheik main but nowadays, I just play Fit Trainer and Daisy in Ultimate if i get the chance.

2025-03-02 02:27:51 +0000 UTCThis is great! I also liked the 2nd game more, although I haven't played the third. I always assumed we'd eventually get to play as Jean! Bayo was my main in Smash for quite awhile until Pyra/Mythra showed up. :-)
