"Alice in Wonderland" illustration
Added 2025-02-14 21:00:09 +0000 UTCMy take one of the classics currently in the public domain. Alice's Adventures in Wonderland has inspired me for a long time. From the original novel to the various interpretations in media, especially American Mcgee's.
Upon rereading the novel, Alice was more posh and smart than I remembered; like she's older than what is shown in the books. Hence her looks on my illustration. Cheshire was a bit straightforward. I just literally wanted to draw a fat and realistic cat that grins. I must say, the details on the table are quite random cus' it would take forever if I made everything reference to the books, which was the initial plan :'(
This illustration serves as a fun personal project which was making a cover for my copy of the book. I will also add this to my book cover portfolio. Overall, this might be one of 2025's hardest piece.

Thanks. The second one improved upon the first one. Too bad EA has the rights so its a turn off for me to purchase.
