For Jordan's design, and all of the other non-main LIs, I gave myself all sorts of freedom when it came to the design. That's part of the reason I had a poll for her look and I would have been happy with any look that was chosen. I wanted someone a bit older to be another cougar type for the MC to have fun with. I needed her to look like she has experience and doesn't take any crap. She had to be good-looking, too, of course. I wanted to make her good-looking in her own way. I wasn't looking for anything specific and it took a little bit of tinkering to get what I wanted.

In the very, very initial planning stages, I was going to have Billy the owner of a bar and that's where the MC would live. I realized quickly that wasn't going to be very feasible for a bunch of different reasons. Billy running it by himself. People being drunk. The MC having to live and study in the same place. I didn't need any extra problems on top of what Billy and MC were already going to deal with.

But I did want a bar type of setting and that's when the Be Easy Speakeasy was created. I needed someone with a personality that could handle drunks and drinking and beers. Jordan's personality is molded around that. She's an older woman who doesn't take any crap and is always honest about what she's thinking. I think everything worked out right with Jordan running the bar and Billy in charge of a peaceful coffee shop.

Jordan has already appeared in the story but she'll still have a role in stuff that happens in the future. And if you like Jordan, I'm sure she's more than willing to have some fun with you again if you're up for it.
