The Next Ones

Hey, everybody.
I'm working on Episode 5 but no update this week. Instead, I want to talk about what's ahead.
The main five women will always be the main five. But I left room to add more content for the other women in the story. All of the women you've met so far are eligible. With a couple of new characters introduced, a couple of new candidates are available to get more content.
I'll slowly begin trickling in more content for the other women as they become more integral to the story. But if you want even more content, let me know. Leave comments. Post suggestions in the Discord. Vote on polls. Every woman will get a shot at the MC but it'll be up to you to decide just how good of a shot they get.
Don't worry if the girl you like isn't as popular as the other. I'll make sure everybody gets a fair chance when her role in the story plays out. I'll make all of the final decisions (and I've already made some) but you'll have your say, too.
The first update news on Episode 5 is coming next week. See you all then. Enjoy your weekend.

Thanks for that thought-out response. I definitely don't want to do more than I can handle. I'm being careful about doing too much. I've only scratched the surface of the stories of the five main LIs and they will always be my primary focus. The other women will be integrated into the main story like they already have been. For example, you know Grace because of Vanessa's story and you know Lorelei because of Erika's story. Every side story, including the non-females, are all part of the main story. Some puzzle pieces are just bigger than others.

With too many minor chars and side plots added in it is easy to loose focus on what's really important and waters down the main story. For now I have a feeling that we're barely grasping what the main chars are all about and where we're heading to. With too much going on at the peripherals it gets harder and harder to keep up a good plot - except where you planned all these side characters and stories from the get go in order to reach the plots solution of course. My personal experience is that it is better to keep the story tight and focused if you want to make it good. You can always add side characters and story arcs through bonus stories without risking to water down the main event. Or you may consider working on a second story alltogether bringing in completly new chars etc. Anyway that's my personal ramblings and thoughts. I have learned that your typical VN audiences mostly care about more girls, more b00bz, more p****, more slutty dressing...yeah...you get the idea. So whatever of that you throw at them will make them happy no matter what that does to the original vision that might have been an intersting plot, a good story and a potentially great game. I've seen it happening many times and will most likely see it happening over and over again (not talking about your game here, just speaking generally). So whenever you are asking your audiences for their input you've got to be extra careful and consider that they will mostly push for a way to add more of the above without even considering what that does to the artistic side of a project. So, enough rambling already, looking forward to be playing the next installment of your game altough that will probably be quite a bit of wait before it's time for that ;-)
